Java Square is a full service coffee shop serving espresso coffee drinks, such as lattes, cappuccinos, & blended iced coffees. We can craft custom milkshakes, lemonades, & smoothies. We offer muffins, scones, cookies; as well as parfaits, chicken salad, & panini sandwiches! We are located in a beautiful historic building. Quality is our priority, that’s why we use a local micro coffee roaster. Our staff of trained baristas strive to always pull the perfect shot, to steam & pour the most velvety milk foam for your favorite cup of coffee. Our goal is to provide you with the a positive & personal customer experience. We believe you come to our shop to get the best, and you deserve the best!!

Stopped in at Java Square Cafe after runnin errands in town and it turned out real nice. Coffee was hot and smooth, not burnt, and the pastry I grabbed tasted fresh like it just come out the oven. Place is cozy and clean, folks behind the counter were friendly and didn’t mind I walked in with work boots. For a small spot the prices felt fair, I’d sure swing back in for another cup.

Opelousas, LA. You can sip a fine brew in their ancient bank vault area that looks like a jail cell or join those working remotely in the front room. Free limited parking on the side or in front of this cute corner shop. Businesses that offer well-crafted coffee are extremely limited in this town so if you’re passing through this is worth the drive—-plus there is a courthouse across the street that has beautiful landscaping, local artists’ artwork with a Louisiana flair, murals and statues.

Absolutely LOVE Java Square. They have the best drinks and food, and the vibes are always perfect. Great place to come study or read a book, but can also be great to have coffee with a friend and chat. Zoe the barista is also super sweet, very knowledgeable and welcoming.
