This review is a stark contrast to the one i gave years ago…
Upon entering for my carryout, I used the (dirty) restroom. When I got to the to-go rack, there were 2 bags and a drink. As only one bag had a receipt, I assumed they were all part of the same order, so I waited.

While waiting, the long hair man working the counter demonstrated his inability to work with customers. An elderly couple was in the front, to the side, waiting for their food. The man pointed out a missing item, and asked the man what he was going to do (not impolite, but the hadn’t offered a solution). The employee audibly made an exaggerated sigh, and then went to check something on the computer. When he conveyed the issue to the customer, it sounded like one of the sandwiches ordered hadn’t been made. Though it was clearly the fault of staff, the man did not apologize. He told the gentleman that he’d “just have to wait.” It was completely inappropriate.

The same staff member didn’t greet or smile any customers. It was one of those situations where we were all just kind of wide eyed, awed by his lack of professionalism.

After about 8 minutes, I finally got the attention of the same employee. He asked if I was waiting for a mobile order. I confirmed, and gave him my name. He came over, and with clear exasperation, showed me the bag without a receipt. I told him I didn’t realize it was mine, as there was nothing indicating it was. He actually GROANED, telling me , “Yeah. I screwed up. It’s in the bag,” then walked away.

Wow.

Icing on the cake? There was no receipt in the bag.

Former review-
I was in a pretty foul mood when I walked in. No pun intended. As I waited for my to-go order, though, my mood gradually lifted. The staff was being silly, in a very respectful way, both with each other as well as customers.

The fellow putting my burger together saw that I wanted extra pickles, and made a point of asking exactly how many extra pickles I would like. That’s always appreciated.

I can’t think of a single time that I’ve been exceptionally disappointed at this particular Wendy’s.

The service at this location before about 7 or 8pm is pretty decent. Never have complaints. Yet when I do come here after then, the worker that works the drive thru window is probably the most rude person. Just slams the entire bag out the window, never acknowledges you and also never gives us everything we order. She needs to find a new job or be nicer. It’s not our fault you hate your job

There is literally no point in having this location open until midnight if the service you get after 10pm is terrible. If the job is that bad, quit. For those of us who also work in food service and sometimes get off late, after not eating all day and wanting a quick bite, it’s super disappointing to be met with the level of rudeness and lack of service this location offers. Twice now I’ve placed mobile orders at this location after 10pm and did not receive my food/had to cancel my order. Wendy’s, hire some happier people or you will continue to have disappointed customers.

UPDATED REVIEW: I believe that manager was fired. Since this experience I have been back a few times and it’s much better! The service is always friendly and the food is fresh!

Placed an order via the app at 1050 pulled up just after 11 and no one took my order. All the lights were on in the lobby and the kitchen and the menu signs were still up and on. They either need to update the hours or they need to make the employees actually work until its time to close shop.

I ordered the classic chicken sandwich and it tasted as though it had been sitting under the heat lamp for awhile. To be fair it was the end of the lunch rush so they had been busy. The other thing is the same with most fast food bathrooms… It wasn’t exactly clean.

Customer service isn’t for everyone, and that’s okay. If it’s not your forte tho, why choose a job in that field? Most of the staff is great, but like alot of fast food places you’ve got a bad egg. The type of vibe you get when you’re an “inconvenience” instead of a customer. Tonight was one of those nights. No one else in the drive thru but was told to hold, five mins later I was able to place my order. When I finished with my one meal order, typical for 10:30pm, I was told a total and pulled forward. I got up to the window and just asked “hey how’s it going?” With no response. Got the card back and said “thank you”, was then acknowledged with an eye roll. As she handed me the food, I again thanked her (cause you should always be curtious to the ones who handle your food) and she about threw the food in the window without a single word since the speaker. Just that kind of interaction makes you second guess eating the food.

We’re from Canada and we had a little mini basketball tournament so in between the games we had a little break kids got hungry I went to the nearest fast food and it was Wendy’s at this location anyways the workers there were oh my gosh so nice smiles from ear to ear……. I go to use my card and their machine wouldn’t work for some reason they asked for cash all I had was Canadian money then I told them forget about the order I’m sorry we’re going to be late for the game…… the manager there super nice with curly hair I wish I knew her name told me to take the order and good luck at the game……wow this would never of happened if we were in Canada honestly I was too shy to even take the order but she was literally pushing it my way. God bless America honestly all the people we met there were super super super nice.
