I thoroughly enjoyed my food. Ordered the Torta with fajita beef and WOW, delectable. Hubby got a burrito which he devoured. My plate was bigger than expected so had to take a togo box. The inside of the building has a lot of cool murals and moldings. Prices were decent. Waitress was kind and attentive. Will be back.

I’ve been here more than once when we had to leave, because all of the wait staff were in the kitchen and we waited over 15 minutes without being seated. Went there last week for dinner. The staff was kind and courteous but obviously untrained. Unfamiliar with menu items. They brought the food and did not provide utensils to eat it with. I had to find the wait station and get my own. The food was mediocre. Salsa tasted like warm water. I ordered the fish and shrimp combo. Fish was ok if very thin, fried shrimp obviously from a box, grilled shrimp so overcooked the shell could not be removed, fries undercooked, had to ask for ketchup. No cocktail, no tartar, just watery salsa and a bitter green sauce. My wife ordered a taco and some pozole. The taco was watery and bland. Didn’t eat it. The pozole tasted like chalk. Nothing like real pozole. No spice, no meaty broth. Very greasy on top. Whoever owns this place obviously does not care anymore. Paid for my meal and left a tip. (waitstaff was at least friendly) They stopped me at my car and said it did not go through. Went back and paid again. My bank statement says I paid twice. 80+ bucks for a bad meal. Never going back.

Absolutely disgusting! Queso is canned nacho cheese and the food seemed old reheated and low quality and over salted! Service was pathetic … they don’t serve alcohol. It’s a freaking joke of a restaurant! The inside decor is $1 store quality and mixed matched themes. Wouldn’t feed this food to my dogs.

Food here is absolutely amazing!! The food was so good that the photos I took were after I ate some of it. This is definitely the best Mexican food here in town!

Okay well for starters the bacon wrapped shrimp was over cooked and tough then the steak tacos and the beans were bland with no flavor but the chicken fajitas quesadilla was awesome and had flavor but the queso is just melted nacho cheese no salsa no nothing just cheese I won’t be back it wasn’t worth the $40 that we just spent and when I told them that the shrimp was over cooked they acted like they didn’t understand english or what I was saying

Good Mexican food in a hole in the wall restaurant. Update: My previous review was three years ago. My family no longer eats at Estrella’s. During and after the height of COVID, the restaurant got dirtier and dirtier, the food started to be reheated instead of cooked to order, and patrons became fewer and fewer. The cheese also changed from delicious, real cheese to bright yellow processed cheese, during the stress of COVID-19 lockdowns. I am very disappointed!

The best. This is for the food truck they have parked near Tractor supply. I have not tried the restaurant yet. Food truck has wonderful menu with prices anyone can afford to eat very well with homemade tortillas for breakfast tacos and generous portions for under two dollars ! Excellent and consistent great food every day . No wonder there is often a line or a small crowd . Friendly and accommodating also.

My husband and son came home from a trip to Pinkston Lake, and they stopped at this restaurant. The horror stories they told had me rolling! Cold seafood burritos, canned bean dip… but to their credit, I did ask why they would order a seafood burrito at a Mexican restaurant.
