This beer was delicious! The food prepared for me was a tasty treat. The salad was a buffet of flavors and the dipping vinegar for the warm bread put my tastes in a happy place. Service was quick, kind, and terrific! Sitting in front of the window, watching the people is an added bonus.

Good prices on food and it is delicious. 3 options for cider this last time. The lemon basil cider is tasty! I’ve enjoyed the artichoke dip appetizer, the ceasar salad, pizza, and cheese filled tortellini with pesto. You can order a flight of ciders, beers, and wines for sampling first.
It’s fun to sit at the big window and watch Shelton go by. At night the xmas lights give it a very warm feeling. There is a large TV for sport watchers above the bar but not noticeable if you aren’t interested.
Service was quick, unobtrusive, send pleasant. Helpful with questions.
I look forward to many more excursions to the taphouse.

The ciders are delicious, I went with a flight. The food is amazing, and so yummy! We had the mac and cheese with bacon and the spinach artichoke dip. Definitely will be back! Nice and friendly staff and great service. It was a nice visit.

The cheese pizza was so yum, and cooked perfectly. My husband said it was the best burger he has had in a year. Everything was fresh and tasty. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Love the addition of El Salvadorian food on the menu! We both had the pupusas and shared the artichoke dip and cheesecake for dessert. The food was wonderful. Beer selection awesome, and service stellar. We will definitely be back!

I went here because I have been searching for decent pizza in Shelton and this place seemed to have good reviews. Got their monster pepperoni. Paid $31 for it. Got home my wife, my guest, my daughter and myself each tried a slice. It was quite burned and completely inedible. I usually don’t like to complain, it REALLY has to be called for. After consideration I decided that we did not get what we paid for, so I called in and requested a refund. The lady seemed understanding and nice, but when I indicated that I wanted a refund instead of a replacement the line got disconnected. I gave them the benefit of the doubt figuring they may be having phone issues. I called back, no answer. I waited an hour and called back again, still no answer. I waited another couple hours, still no answer, then called back just before bed, still no answer. I’m pretty sure she hung up on me. My bank was happy to reverse the transaction, so I got my money back. Regardless, at the end of the day, a pizza that costs over $30 should be delicious. And 4 people should have no problem demolishing the thing. Maybe it was just a fluke and accidentally gave me a burned pizza, but be warned! If they mess up your order do not expect them to take responsibility if you have already paid.
