I haven’t been here in many years, but was in town for holiday- ordered the steak sandwich and some wings- AMAZING. Great job in the kitchen.

The place was way to small had to literally force my way through people to get to keno machine got my beer that was over priced at a whopping 7.00 25 min later our waitress returned,on their menu had no price tag for fish fry 23 dollars for a blue gill dinner and 17.45 for a perch basket with 3 tiny perch I was not impressed with portion nor service total was 60 plus dollars for two baskets and 3 beers I will definitely not be a return customer I’ll keep my business up north where I reside 13.25 for our baskets that are hefty !

Great Food, Big Drinks, and an Awesome Atmosphere
Hecks Bar in Carrollton, is a great spot to grab a bite and enjoy some drinks. The food is consistently delicious, and I love that they have a special every day—it’s always something new to try. Plus, they serve any beer on draft in huge mugs, which is always a win. The atmosphere is especially awesome when watching Lions games—it’s really lively and fun. The staff is mostly fantastic, always friendly and attentive, though there are a couple of workers who come off as a bit rude, which can be a bit off-putting. I do wish their kitchen stayed open a little later, but I understand they have their hours. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a relaxed meal with great food, big drinks, and a great atmosphere. Definitely recommend!
