Not our first visit, but always a great value and experience!

Interesting rotation of wines to sample by the glass. $15 corkage fee to purchase and pop open a bottle off their shelves to drink. Wonderful selection of snacks, cheese, tinned seafood, and charcuterie to accompany. An Athens must-visit!

Beautiful, sophisticated, encouraging, unpretentious. Knowledgeable, surprising, tasty, fun… OK enough adjectives, already! But no, wait. Just two more, because this spot is somehow still southern (goat cheese meets hot pepper jelly!) and local, residing in this beautiful old brick building with a bike lane going by and sidewalk tables beautifully (!) lit by streetlights. The wines are good, yes yes, and the friendly waitstaff — peach-ginger forward, otter musk finish? — serve only to belie the weakness of wine prose: no descriptors could do them justice.

Taste for yourself!

My wife and I really enjoyed this wine bar. I would say one of the top 5 out of all the ones we have visited in the United States (and there a lot that we have visited). Wine display, wine details and descriptions were well written and on par with the wines. Love the “Tinned” on plate idea for small snacks. Ambiance of the place and looking to come back here soon. Cheers to the bartender for he was always attentive and on track with refilling our glasses.

Krista, the owner and sommelier, is fabulous! She carries a wealth of knowledge and has created the perfect corner for you to waltz in at any moment during the day. The selection of wines is endless. Kudos for also having Independent Baking Co. bread and Condor Chocolates 🙂

Beautiful space to enjoy beautiful wine. I’m so happy to finally have a place to get a nice glass of wine and they know their stuff. Love stopping in to buy or staying for a glass or two or three. Very knowledgeable staff and always so friendly. Lots of options and the snacks are incredible. It’s my favorite go to spot in town. Definitely stop in and enjoy this new treasure.

One of my new favorite places on Prince! The owner is lovely and very knowledge about wines. She gives really great recommendations! The prices of the bottle of wines are affordable, as well as the tastings of the wines in the shop. The atmosphere is very comfortable and COVID safe. The shop also has snacks, chocolates, and cheese to pair with the wine. It’s a great place to taste different wines!

This is hands down the best place to grab a bottle of wine in Athens. The owners are very knowledgeable about wine and have curated a special collection with prices ranging from very affordable to special occasion. It’s so neat to be able to have a glass or flight of wine inside (or outside!) while you decide what you want to take home. They also have special treats and gifts, so this is a one stop shop especially for the holidays.

Amazing addition to the Athens food and wine scene while at the same time being a culturally significant gathering space for all. Cool couple run the place (Same owners as the ExPat bistro in Five Points sections of Athens), and you can buy a bottle off the shelf and drink it there with a very nice selection of charcuterie, cheeses, local bread, olives, etc. or buy a bottle(s) and take them home. Flights of wine seem to be a go to order for people. They sell two different size pours too if you want to taste through their by the glass selections and stay level headed. Must experience if you make it to Athens. Chill Vibe.

Good atmosphere. I ordered a tasting to try the whites and reds. A tasting is normally a 2oz pour, but we received and had to pay for 5oz pours ($3.50 vs $8). Make sure you clarify here that you want your tasting to be 2oz pours. Luckily I caught it and cancelled all the reds, but it was very disappointing to have double the bill for half the wine. Wine sampled was average.

We were visiting Athens because our sons were diving for a swim and dive event for Florida. Cathy Slater was so awesome we ate at all of her restaurants! Delicious food and and great service at Slater’s Steakhouse and The ExPat
