Chose this place while traveling through the area because of the reviews. Food was really small portioned for the price and lunch menu items weren’t very far of a deviation from your standard Mexican restaurant fare with the addition of shrimp and mahi mahi options. Decor was a bit lacking. Margaritas were also syrupy tasting. Not a fan, but I’m not local so maybe there isn’t a lot of other options.

Not a “Mexican” experience as advertised! Sent brusetta (not Mexican) back as way salty but the Baja pizza was very enjoyable. Yellow fin tuna was exceptional and cooked perfect but when did Wasabi become a Mexican dish? Place is boring inside and definitely not a taste of Mexico as advertised. Spent 95.00 for two people but 45.00 of that was drinks. Place is billed as a Mexican experience as soon as you walk in but the place is boring inside and Madonna was the music that was playing. Well probably not go back.

Please read. To start, we were walking in as the owner was chewing out (cursing) one of his employees. Once we were sat, a nice young lady came by to give us our water and we were told that Gustavo himself would be serving us. Gustavo wasn’t the friendliest, and made us feel uncomfortable. The food was just ok. We ordered the trio, half the shrimp we ordered came out cold. We ate it bc we were starving but otherwise would have sent it back. The chowder came out cold too. We were told the food was made fresh, but our appetizer came out with stale chips. We wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. The owner should be worrying about other things, he had servers there that were actually friendly and could have been serving us. There was another couple eating there and he was serving them too. We tipped the other server girl and not him bc she deserved it and the owner shouldn’t have been taking tables. He pre-bussed our table, but as soon as he turned the corner he gave the stuff to the young lady so that’s partially why she got the tip and he didn’t. That’s just greedy on his part. Food was overpriced. We had a WAAAYYYY better experience at The Chef’s Table just a short drive away.

We ordered the baja pizza appetizer, and it was very good.
I ordered the baja chimichanga with green sauce, black beans and rice. I was very happy with the food.
My wife ordered chicken linguini, and she is raving about it.
Teenager ordered Chipotle chicken fettuccine, and she loved it.
My Twelve year old was not impressed with her enchiladas. Wife and teenager tasted it, and they were impressed. Twelve year old wants Wendy’s burgers.
Service was very good.
Our dog was able to sit outside with us. The waiter brought over a bowl of water for our dog.

Gustavo’s is a nice addition to the restaurant scene in Klamath Falls. Prices are really good the food was excellent and Gustavo himself waited on us. I think if you try it you’ll really like it totally enjoyed our experience in the food

We were told we needed reservations, no plenty of seating. The say everything is fresh home made, no it’s fresh from frozen. It’s prices are 5* with 2* quality. The bathrooms were yucky and no soap in the women’s room. Pretty disappointed for our anniversary dinner.

Great service very clean and tasty food. The one thing that I personally didnt like was that the guacamole had way too many tomatoes in it. Thats just my personal opinion though. Other than that it was a great experience.

Excellent prosciutto cheese stuffed shrimp! The option to pick 3 dinners as smaller portions on one plate is a great way to try out all there different selections.
