I am born and raised in Plainfield ALL my family, friends, and myself have been supporting this business since the very beginning. Last night will be my last time spending a dollar at this place and let me tell you why. I placed an order online last night through the Slice App, their third party ordering system. Immediately I said to myself why are these prices so high and just assumed they increased their prices due to various reasons. So I proceeded to place the order and spent a total of $32 on two meals. When I get there to pick up my order something told me to look at the prices under the pictures. I was overcharged $4.50 for one meal and $2.75 for the second meal. That’s a total of $7.25 & I don’t care every dollar adds up. When I bought this to their attention the guy whom I’ve dealt with for YEARS got very nasty with me and tried to act dumb like he didn’t know what i was talking about. Told me they have no control over the prices on the app and to deal with them. Then proceeded to tell me to come back in the morning when the owner is there and speak with him. A free soda, free side, or something would’ve made me whole but the treatment I got after being overcharged was ridiculous. I have receipts and all proof. I will never spend another dollar at this establishment ever again! Bad customer service and just rude.

my favorite place to go get food!!! i love this place! every time i get food from here its always AMAZING. i never had a complaint ab this place. i dont know of any other restaurant that has food like theirs. u r missing out if u never had it. they have a nice comfortable sitting area and a nice clear view of the menu inside the store. and prices are really good for the amount of food they give! i tell everyone i know to come here.

Now I know I should’ve known better. I don’t usually order seafood from these kinds of places but I had a taste for shrimp and fries so I figured I’d try it out. Actually, I ordered shrimp, fish and fries. Additionally I ordered chicken fingers and fries for my children and buffalo wings and fries for my husband. All of it was HORRIBLE. The fish was cut into weird strips. It was dried out like beef jerky. The shrimp breading was crisp but the shrimp was soft. The chicken fingers and wings were terribly dry and overcooked and all of the food had that weird aftertaste you get when the grease is old. I’m terribly disappointed. 46.00 and half the food had to be thrown away. I know this isn’t a 5⭐️ establishment but the food can at least be fresh. Years ago this spot was better…but it was terrible today!
