Everything was perfect! Great margarita. I love the flour tortilla option for the chips. Loves the salsa. Blackbeans were well seasoned but not salty and had a great texture. The hot chicken taco was my favorite. I enjoyed the Hollywood, but wish it was a little saucier. I’d come back.

Absolutely loved our visit to Crafted: The Art of the Taco in Mebane!

From the moment we walked in, we were met with warm, friendly service. Our server was incredibly kind and attentive, and the food and drink runners were just as friendly. Everyone genuinely seemed happy to be there, which made the experience even better.

The owner was present during our visit and took the time to check in with guests, making sure everyone was enjoying themselves. That personal touch made the place feel extra special.

As for the food—delicious! Chef Johnny’s specials were the standout, packed with flavor and clearly crafted with care. The atmosphere was cozy and laid-back, making it a perfect spot to relax with friends. They also have a solid drink selection that complemented the meal really well.

Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. Great people, great food, and a super comfortable vibe!

Definitely stop in and see Brittany! She is amazing, the tacos were amazing… but if you love fall and autumn themed ANYTHING, you must try the Autumn in Dragons Pear-adise cocktail! Delicious from start to finish!

Had a nice Friday lunch at Crafted Mebane. Service by Caleb was great – knowledgeable of the menu and stopped by just often enough to be sure we had everything we needed.
App – Dirty South Nachos were fantastic! Sweet potato fries were not oily, pulled pork was delicious and the aoli/scallions finished it off nicely. Didn’t really want an app but could not pass it up when I noticed it and no regrets there.
Smoked Goat Burger served smashed was enjoyed by my wife and the quality of the meat was great.
Wayfarer Bulgogi short ribs tacos on flour tortilla were stuffed just right and tasted great. I ordered rice as a side which was the only downer as rice was already in the tacos and it was a bit mushy. Should have read the reviews for other sides – my bad.
Atmosphere is fine. Only gave 4 stars as nothing special.
Highly Recommended!

Run, don’t walk to Crafted Art of the Taco in Mebane and order this cocktail – Autumn in Dragon’s Pear-adise. If Fall had a flavor, this would be it! Brittany – you knocked this one out of the park! Delicious!

We moved from Atlanta back home to North Carolina and slept on this place for the first year. What a mistake! Atlanta is known for its wide variety of artisan eateries and no doubt Crafted would fit in deliciously. Thankfully they’re right here in Mebane. From the custom wooden bar to the pop art paintings on the wall, it’s cool and mellow meets fine design.

With multiple styles of tacos and the varied ways to contain them, you can enjoy different combos to make each meal unique. The rotating taps are a treat for those who enjoy seasonal flavors or revisiting favorites. They even have several choices for the cider lovers out there.

My wife and I feel honored that Tate comes by our table to say hello whenever she sees us. She’s incredibly busy but always seems to find time to say hello. The amount of thought she puts into the food and the enthusiastic staff makes for a satisfying dining experience.

It’s our favorite place to eat in Mebane. Make it yours!

I have very, very fortunately been to this place many times, when they had previous locations in Winston-Salem and Greensboro, NC.

I did not realize they ever had a Mebane location until the other day when I went to meet my Aunt with my mother.

I have ELATED my aunt chose this place, because this food and drink straight up SLAPPPPPPP.

My mom and Aunt got the signature margaritas, which were made with a strawberry kiwi balsamic vinegar. It sounds weird, but man, that was probably the best margarita I have ever had. Unfortunately, I had to drive, so I couldn’t partake as much as I would have liked to.

While I did not partake in much alcohol, I did have lots of yummy food! We started with the stuffed avocado, which had cheese sauce, pico, and chorizo coating the entire avocado. My mother also discovered that she will eat avocados if they are covered in many other things, LOL. I had a salad, fish taco and the chicken tinga taco, all were delicious. I cannot remember what my aunt had to eat as tacos, but I did try her collard greens she ordered and those were freaking amazing.
My mother ordered a smash burger, and while I did not have a bite, she was raving about the juicy burger with pimento cheese and bacon on top.
The only real issue with this restaurant is the parking, there is not much of it, and its in a downtown area, but, even with this hassle, crafted is very much worth it.

We were there for lunch, and I had the special of the day. It was called “The Cuban” – pretty much like a Cuban sandwich. The ham was curly and crispy on top, and roasted, pulled pork was the base of the taco, then lettuce, tomato, pickles, and cheese. I would like to go back and choose the roast pork from the “build your own” menu. I also had a side salad, which was chopped lettuce, onion and tomato. The ladies I was with had sweet potato fries, which looked very tasty! Since it was the lunch service, it was rather quiet, with low music. The service was wonderful. The staff are very friendly, professional, and welcoming. Definitely must go back!

Really nice little local place that we have been meaning to try for a while now. Waitress was really nice and they had a nice beer selection. The good: lots of creative tacos with a fantastic mix of flavor. I had the ahi tuna and bulgogi beef and both had a good portion of meat and lots of toppings. The bad: my wife got a different kind of fish taco and the fish wasn’t cooked all the way. I also had a water glass with lipstick on it but we didn’t complain about either one and these could have just been one-offs. We will still try it again because everything else was really good
