My mom and I went here for a sunset dinner and were seated by the railing. While it ended up being cloudy, it was still a lovely atmosphere!
I had a glass of the house Chardonnay, which was nicely paired with the food. We split the coconut shrimp for an appetizer and the lobster tail and shrimp scampi pasta for our meal. Both were great! I’m always nervous about shrimp, but it was cooked perfectly in both dishes.
The real highlight was the service. Luigi, our server, is exceptional. Probably the best waiter in the country, let alone Florida. My water glass was never empty, he split the dishes onto plates for us and properly cut the lobster tail, and his personality was so sweet.
Can’t wait to come back!

This review is for Sandbar. I couldn’t find a place to review the restaurant on South Beach, so I’m leaving it here, with the hope that people at Sandbar see it. We love Sandbar. The menu and food are great, as is the ambiance. We mostly want to share that Jermaine, our server several times, is outstanding – warm, welcoming, professional and knowledgeable. And he’s just an all-around nice guy. We will be back and hope that Jermaine is our server again! He’s terrific!!

The atmosphere, food, and drinks were great. The only downside was having to wait awhile for someone to come take our order at the bar. Finally got our menu, and sat there for a pretty long time before our waitress came back.

Great restaurant right in the beach with amazing lunch options! I had the grain salad and I loved it! My friend has the salmon BLT, which was also incredible. People next to us were having wine that looked wonderful, but it’s not a huge wine selection.

Really cool tram ride to the very clean beach. Attentive staff had our chairs and umbrella set-up with lightning speed. Get there early for a good spot.

We had a lovely lunch indoors here with a view of. The beach. Quiet and cool. Excellent cocktails and small but varied beer selection. The grouper bites were crispy, tender and delish. I had the chicken wrap, others had the beet salad and other salad choices. No desserts. Overall great spot on the beach.

Family safe tropical fun! Lovely beach with clear water. Trollies (golf cars with seating for 8) can transport you to and from different Pelican Bay destinations. Including Marker 36. I would highly recommend it!

So we were in the bar section right around sunset. People actually left right before the sun set! The waiter tried to help us find a spot when some customers came over to me to let me know they were leaving. Everyone is so damn nice!!!
The waiter was really great. He got us some bread even though we were on the bar side. The food is good. We shared the salmon which was wild caught. (I don’t eat farmed fish) The $5 up charge for sharing is worth it because we each got good portion of sides.
The sunset was magnificent since it’s right by the beach. The food and prices are a good deal considering the location. You do need Pelican Bay membership to come here. The beach is private.
