Plsss for the love of our health use less oil when cooking your fried rice and other fried foods. I can see the oil in my foods. The rice is shined in oil, that way too much. Also, there no tomatoes in sweet and sour soup, so maybe remove it?

I was going to give two stars for the person getting the order but my wife said it’s a 1 star. The food is not good. Four people ate and we couldn’t finish it. (Not because it was too much but for the reason that it didn’t have a good smell or taste. The chow mein didn’t taste good. The pork fried rice had a weird smell. And the other portions were small Four seperate orders for a price of 80 dollars. First and last time coming here, very dissatisfied. We have been searching for other restaurants but others still beat the price, quality, and quantity over Great china.

Awesome experience and Awesome food!
My wife and I are new to the area we are here for work wanted to order Chinese food and she was against it because he was afraid of what we would get I did a little research and found this place relatively close to where we are when I got there the staff and the customers were all in a great mood being very friendly and helpful one lady told me she had been coming there for 20 years and drives quite a ways out of her way because it’s worth it I went ahead and ordered and she was right it was definitely worth it we will be coming here again and again this is our new Chinese food home I would highly recommend to anyone in the area to check it out the portions were great the food was excellent and the staff was very friendly it felt like we were back in Texas!
still coming once a week and still loving it!

One of my go to places for lunch specials there prices and portions are great they even give soup on to go orders. I like the Mongolian beef with fried rice and the bbq pork and mixed vegetables with fried rice lunches and it comes with a crab puff. Pics to come

I ordered the seafood clay pot. My food came out VERY hot (as it should be) and white rice. Both were exceptional, the dish had a superb variety of veggies. The portion was massive. I will return.

I will give this restaurant a 4.5. The food was solid. Nothing fru fru or gourmet but good take out Chinese. My only complaint is when I order spicy dishes, I expect more than 1 chili pepper for two spicy dishes. So kind of benign on the spicy. I will request more chili next time.

Have been coming here since high school, love the laid back environment. They make you feel like family. My kids loved the orange chicken.

Chinese specialties like hot pot with outstanding spare ribs, pork, rice, the most delicious warm soup, Great China is our family’s favorite place to the fabulous Hot Pot dishes north of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Great wonton soup. And the only place I know where you can get the old fashioned chow mein with the crunchy noodles, I don’t mean pan fried, I mean those tan crunchy noodles you often see on salad bars, see photo attached. Years ago we use to get it at the China kitchen on Mendocino Ave. missed for years until I found this place.

Small basic Chinese restaurant serving the dishes you’d expect.
Went mid-day on a Saturday and it was empty but for takeout pick-ups.
Restaurant was clean but not obsessively so.
Service was very speedy!
Food quality was excellent. Clean flavors with each distinct element of a given dish able to be identified. That’s pretty rare these days. Their velveting technique is excellent, giving the meats a wonderful texture. Char siu is on point. Veges crunchy and not overcooked. Both wor won ton and hot and sour soups were exceptional.
A highlight in the Santa Rosa Chinese food scene!
