Walking into 74 Main Public House feels like Priest River decided to glow up in the best way possible. The place is spotless, modern, and welcoming without feeling like it’s trying too hard. Clean lines, good vibes, and zero sticky tables. A rare and beautiful trifecta.
Now the staff. Every single one of them deserves a high five and maybe a cape. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy you’re there. It’s the kind of service that makes you want to tip generously and come back just to see them again.
The food? Outstanding. Like “why don’t all places do it this way?” outstanding. And then there’s the cheesecake. Listen closely because this matters. Warm on the bottom. Cold on the top. At the same time. I don’t know what kind of culinary sorcery is happening back there, but it was flawless. I’ve never experienced a cheesecake with such emotional range.
Bonus points for offering several gluten-free options that don’t feel like an afterthought. Everyone gets to eat well here, and no one feels left out.
In short, 74 Main Public House is doing everything right. Come hungry, leave happy, and seriously… save room for the cheesecake.

My wife and I went to 74 Main Public House for a Christmas party. This event had charcuterie, salad, and a variety of pizzas. The atmosphere was enchanting (this was true of the surrounding downtown Priesr River area as well). The food was delicious and well priced. We look forward to going back again soon and I highly recommend checking out this excellent establishment.
