We were visiting from Florida and randomly stumbled across this place. The food was delicious! It exceeded my expectations! We got BBQ brisket, chicken, man-n-cheese, twice baked potato salad, collard greens, and baked beans. The portions are solid! Three of us could’ve split one meal (meat and two sides). The staff is super friendly and willing to give you recommendations (and samples). The only negative is there’s no seating, however, the staff told us about a park on the lake up the street so we had a great picnic! I will definitely be back…I still need to try the ribs and Brunswick Stew! Kudos!!!!

We went today for the first time. We were looking for really good wings. What we didnt expect was a whole in the wall smoke house. But it definitely took us by surprise. Another guy came back in from eating his food outside even said “it was so good, it was like I was cheating on my wife, so I had to come back in and get her some” we got our whole chicken wings and Sausage and pork. Let’s just they got “The Meats” haha go enjoy your time picking up your food and smelling like you just spent 20hrs smoking it yourself bc once you get home your vehicle will surely smell like a smoker. Pick some up for gatherings and they will never know. % will return for the meats. Thanks Mike! From my husband.

Got the brisket with Mac and cheese and baked beans. Unbelievably good. The only place outside of Atlanta I will ever get brisket from. Also the smoked kielbasa is insanely good. I’d give 10 stars if I could.

WOW!!! Went here for Father’s Day with the family because we had heard good things but never tried it. At first I thought the prices were steep, but after seeing how much food is in each plate- you definitely get the most bang for your buck. You could probably make 3-4 sandwiches out of 1 of the pulled pork plates. And the taste is unmatched. We tried every meat, even the sausage, and almost every side. The chicken was tender, flavorful pulled pork, delicious brisket, and the ribs were thick. Plus the BBQ sauce was VERY good- even for someone who doesn’t usually care for BBQ. Potato casserole & Mac and cheese sides were my favorite but none of the sides were bad. Service was fast & friendly. Owner even let us try some of his gumbo he was making which was very good! Only regret is that we didn’t try the banana pudding. It did look really good. Definitely a place that verifies that hole-in-the-wall places usually have the best food. Definitely will be back when we can. Worth the trip. Pic is from home- more of a takeout place than dine-in restaurant.

First time to try, we ordered the large turkey dinner. First time I didn’t spend 2 days preparing and cooking. I was so happy the food was excellent. My family wants us to start using there sides through out the year. I was totally impressed. Turkey perfect!

Best BBQ in Forsyth, Dalton, or Hall county. This is the new goto for me. The prices are incredible, the portions are perfect, and the people working here are very welcoming. It’s meant to be a grab and go, so atmosphere isn’t expected, but they have that too!

We found this place just passing through to visit Cloudland Canyon. I saw the great reviews and I knew I had to try it. My wife got the smoked chicken plate with slaw and potato salad. I got the pulled pork sandwich with jalapeño cornbread.
After I was done eating, I wanted to try everything else they had, especially the burnt ends and the brisket. We were both impressed with the flavor of the meat. It was so juicy and delicious.
Even though I live kinda far away, I will try to come by again and sample some of the other great items. I will say there was no place to sit inside, so we had to eat at a park.

Run, don’t walk, to get here! OMG Everything is AMAZING! The service was so warm and welcoming. Their food is some of the best food we’ve ever had. We got the short rib plate special with twice baked potato casserole and macaroni and cheese, smoked kielbasa, brisket burnt ends, and banana pudding and everything was excellent!
