The lady at the register was chilling in the back
When she came up she immediately gave is a hard time for not knowing what we wanted constantly muttering under her breath about wasting her time. I’ve never had such entitled rude behavior from such a miserable employee. I was already stressed as can be having to ship out to Navy OCS only for this lady to belittle both me and my father. It is ridiculous that such an irate and frankly disrespectful employee can continue to work here if she can’t leave her attitude at the door. If Burger King cares about its customers in the slightest they would do well to terminate her.
Don’t get me wrong I didnt come looking for or expecting stellar or even decent service, just didn’t expect blatant disrespect.
I should have known from the lack of customers
Anyways, I ordered my food which actually was all correct. The lady at the register rung me up, and told me to tap my card on a reader with a broken screen. No problem. After tapping it she walks away for about 5 mins to toss some cups where all of the hot food sits before being bagged. While she is away doing this fantastic work, I’m watching a machine with some kind of creamer dripping all over the floor. The place is a nightmare, so I look at the wall and see they have a 97 (A) rating…which I’m pretty sure is not accurate for this kind of a sloppy mess.
The food arrives rather quick which I can respect and the young man bagging the food and handing it to customers was great.
I sat down with my kiddos, got their food all set up, and open my chicken sandwich to find the lousiest piece of bone-dry/rock hard chicken on it. Typically, I wouldn’t eat this because the meal was expensive and I want a meal that is at least palatable. But hey, I’m hungry and tired at this point, and I just want to get to the hotel for a few hours rest before coming back and flying all day. So I pour as much BBQ sauce as I can onto it to at least soften it a little. He’ll, the sheep and rice I ate in Iraq on deployment was 10x better than this, but who am I to complain lol.
Anyways, the customer service was non-existent at the register. The food was maybe a 1/10 since I didn’t die eating it. The atmosphere was….well, it’s an airport in Atlanta. Next time I’ll stick to the pre-packaged dry sandwiches in the little mini-marts. Don’t waste your money here. In fact, I’m not even sure how it’s still operating at this point.
I waited about 30 minutes total, most of that time watching my own bag sit there unfinished. The issue wasn’t lack of food, burgers and fries were constantly being made, but nothing was actually going into the bags.
Two employees were “assembling” orders, but instead of finishing them, they decided to prepare 10+ orders at once. One guy was busy attaching receipts to empty paper bags, while the other was taking new orders, even though 10+ bags were already waiting. During this time, no orders went out for about 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, one poor worker in the kitchen was making several burgers and large batches of fries that just sat there.
Because this is an airport and my flight was boarding, I had to abandon the order I had been staring at. To top it off, when I asked about my order, the woman at the counter gave me attitude.
Complete operational failure.
