On Friday February 20th 2026, My wife, Ma & I stopped in around 2pm. We went for the all you can eat fish fry. Started at 11am & went all day.
We Started off with some garlic cheese curds. We all decided to do the fish. We all also had the wild rice soup, my wife had a side of tots.
Service was excellent, they were timely on getting the cheese curds out, They were pretty good(flavor full).
Next came the wild rice soup. Very good & mild, not overly salty.
Then the fish arrived, all I can say is wow… Not only was it nice & golden brown. It was nice thick stips. Absolutely delicious! The fish was accompanied by Cole slaw & tarter sauce.

Went to Jake’s really looking forward to it ordering a burger with mash potatoes. Only to finding a v shaped hair in the potatoes. I wasn’t mad but told Sue our waitress I didn’t want to anymore after finding that. No apologies was said but just was told by our waitress we won’t charge you for those 2 items. No one else came to us, left hungry. Disappointed. Damn

I shared a review on Feb 15th. But looks like it was removed! Horrible service for Valentine’s dinner! Made reservations the Monday before Valentine’s for the Valentine Prime Rib and lobster. They ran out of prime rib! Very poor planning on both the kitchen managers part and the owners part! $300 is what I spent for crap! I’m a local and I will never go back!

Stopped by on a Saturday night with some friends. Nice atmosphere, fast service and friendly staff. We had the Blackberry Bacon Sandwich with fries, Wild Rice soup (with bacon?), onion rings, and the Burnt Pork belly ends appetizer. All very good, but not extraordinary. The pork belly things were too spicy, but the onion rings were excellent. Prices were reasonable. Overall we enjoyed our meal and will come back during a warm day to enjoy the lake views – cuz at night in the winter that was all lost on us. Lol

Stopping here on a Thursday night, outside patio view is what the Doctor ordered. Attentive staff and well cared for. Had the Firecracker Shrimp, Strawberry Avocado Salad and the French Dip. The shrimp was a meh… I was expecting better, the shrimp was cooked perfectly and tossed in a sauce topped with scallions and Blue Cheese as the dipping sauce… Good but not great. The salad was beautiful and really tasty… Several kinds of greens and lots of veggies served with a lemon vinaigrette dressing. Really like the salad!. French Dip ordered with caramelized and gluten free bread. They really like their onions. Beef was good, topped off with Swiss cheese. Au jus wasn’t quite needed as the lower half the bun was soaked. Making the Sandwich hard to pick up. That bread was so good that it had me questioning if it was gluten free. The bread should have been grilled to give it structure to withstand the wetness. All in all really good places that I would try again, the soup and fish options have me thinking about my next trip… Clean place, clean bathrooms and of course added points for the bathroom picture of Dogs playing poker!

Are there for dinner last night. This morning my boyfriend and I woke up with really bad food poisoning. We had the ranch chicken sandwich, firecracker shrimp, and French dip. We both shared all 3 items. Not totally sure which of those items caused the food poisoning. Also when we walked in the staff was really rude and barely came to the table even thought the only people in there where people at the bar on the other side of the restaurant. Won’t be coming back

Thank you Mel and Josh for fantastic service. I got the bourbon molasses wings. Subtle but delicious flavor. I tried both the drink of the week and the shot of the week. $4 and $2 respectively. Spent less than 20 bucks prior to tip for a nice dinner in a fun , family friendly atmosphere with a view of the lake. I opted to sit inside at the bar but there is also restaurant and patio seating. Got to see my 2 favorite Muppets in the balcony section! I’ll be back. So glad I finally tried this place.

Best version of the restaurants there so far! Menu has lots of good looking things. We’ll def be back again. We totally didn’t plan it, but we got a beatiful sunset dinner on their patio which was lovely. We ordered the pork belly burnt ends on onion strings and those were super yummy. Surprisingly meaty and lots of onion strings. I ordered the braised beef ribs but they were out of them. Tried the broasted chix with mashed potatoes. Chicken was very juicy just not tons of flavor. Mashed potatoes were delicious, real pan style gravy with chix in it. Hubs got the pan fried walleye with wild rice and asparagus. Both sides were great! Walleye could have been more flavorful and the pan fried parts were not really crispy, moreso soggy… The smoke on the lake drink was indeed very smoky if you like that kind of drink. Straw mojito was ok. Pain killer was pretty good, I’d order another one of those. No dessert offerings. Which was fine bc we were stuffed. But we were celebrating and would have been disappointed if we we’re hoping for a sweet something after dinner. Server was brand new, 1st day. Did not let us know the things they were out of right away. Was a lil slow with their handheld ordering devices. But she was kind and friendly. Hope this place stays around!

I ordered chicken Alfredo. It showed up with no chicken. They said they would bring it but it never showed up and I gave up waiting
I would think with it being such a nice looking restaurant the wait staff would be more presentable. Maybe black pants and top.
It looked like everyone just walked off the street . It doesn’t look very professional for the restaurant
We won’t be back
