So delicious with all the dishes! The fish was surprised me, especially when it’s hot! Perfect with the sauce! And it’s soooo big! The soft crab as good as always! Love the crab fried rice when it’s hot. Raw prawn is a bit salted but so fresh. Great service and food.

Really tasty Thai food in the heart of Henderson! We arrived without a booking on a very busy Saturday night. They found us a table and considering how packed they were the service was prompt and super friendly. The star of the night was the food though, and not just ours. As dishes passed our table to others there was a risk of food envy. The Instagram favourite beef noodles looked good but the whole fish is something we’re going to return for. We ordered well though, khoa soi, Tom yum won ton noodle soup, raw prawn salad and the cooked prawn starter. All delicious and generous portions. We’ll be back.

Food is ok and the staff friendly. The place is a bit unloved. Needs a good vacuum and the walls need a good wipe. Greasy handprints on the walls next to the tables a bit off putting. Not much more to add. Average, and would not be returning.

Amazing thai food. Had take out. Pad see ew chicken, green curry and basi chicken. All were excellent! And great portion sizes. Ordered curry and basil chicken spicy and it definitely had a kick. Highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic Thai restaurant!
The hospitality here is outstanding. As a vegetarian, dining out can sometimes be tricky, but they went above and beyond, even taking the egg off a dish and placing it on the side for me – no problem at all!
The food was incredibly quick to arrive (within 10 minutes!) and the staff were so attentive. They made our requests seem effortless.

SAON is, without a doubt, the best Thai restaurant I have ever visited so far.
You absolutely must try their Som Tum salad and the beef fried rice. The beef is a total stand-out, it’s like getting a perfectly cooked beef steak in your fried rice, it was so incredibly soft and tender. 10/10 experience!

The best Thai food I have tried in Auckland, with bold flavours and great portion. I love the mango sticky rice, beef fat fried rice and their seafood red curry. I am glad that I have tried food that is new and something different rather than ordering pad thai all the time. The service was great and I love how there is enough room from table to table. Will definitely come back!

Nice little Thai restaurant, has dinner here the first time and ordered plenty of dishes amount 3 adults and 2 kids. Service was really good and the food was very nice, the Red Thai curry is great with Rice hard to find a park during evening.

Delightful to find a place for authentic Thai food. Had lunch here on Sunday and tried bamboo shoots salad, Green curry, tom yum fried rice. All suit my palate. The staff was super friendly even though she was working alone. Will try some other dishes.
Cons- Rice doesn’t come with curry. Lunch special is available on weekdays only. Didn’t feel Thai ambience due to boring decor.
