Absolutely the Best Pizza I’ve Ever Had – Worth the Trip from Canada!
As a Canadian and avid traveler who’s tasted pizza across North America and Europe, I can confidently say Cromwell Pizza & Pasta in Cromwell, CT serves the BEST pizza I’ve ever had in my life.
From the first bite, I was blown away by the perfectly thin and crispy crust, generous and flavorful toppings, and the balance of textures and flavors that only a truly great pizzeria can achieve. Every ingredient tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making me feel like a local from the moment I walked in. The cozy, inviting atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. Service was fast and attentive, and I was amazed at how willing they were to personalize dishes—even ones not on the menu! That level of flexibility and hospitality is rare and so appreciated.
And here’s the cherry on top—it’s BYOB, which is such a fantastic bonus! Bring your favorite wine or beer and enjoy a top-tier Italian meal without the markup.

I used to go here when I was little. Was very very good. Recently went. Lady at the front was very sweet the store is very clean. Pizza was unfortunately very doughy almost raw. Very disappointing.

Ordered a Sicilian pizza which according to the menu is supposed to be made in a pan. Received an extremely thick and underdone pizza (just raw dough under the cheese) that was vaguely rectangular and definitely not made in a pan. The edges were rounded. Sauce is bland and generic tomato with no seasoning.
Just making a pizza thick does not make it Sicilian. They should take this item off of the menu. I will never order from this place again.
