Exceptional is the first word that comes to mind. It is like getting the golden ticket to the best food around. Wonka himself would be proud. Not only everything on the plate is extraordinary in taste but Frank and Dinnah personally want you to enjoy the amazing food that they serve. This is a five star restaurant tucked outside of Antieham School district. This is not a inexpensive meal but well worth the price. If you are looking for the best meal you could have please call them and make a reservation. We went on a Tuesday night due to the popularity of the restaurant. Everything literally melts in your mouth from the roasted potatoes to the lamb and especially the duck. Everything is made from scratch so relax and enjoy.

The food was absolutely out of this world- the Jager Schnitzel was the BEST I have ever had—and I spent 3 years living in Germany. Kelly, our server, is so attentive and her kindness and joy are contagious!!
It was the best meal out and best service I have had in I don’t even know how long. I’ll be a regular forever and I’ll make sure Kelly is there when I go!

Best place in the world to grab dinner Frank is always police and friendly and incredibly accommodating. The food is always top notch I have eaten here 20+ times in the very recent past and I have yet to get something off the menu that didn’t absolutely blow my mind. Best food in berks and beyond.

Really robust menu full of steaks and seafood.
I came here for a special occasion, but the prices aren’t too insane. I could definitely see people coming here for their weekly night out (ya know, married couples and whatnot).
Owner was a cool guy. Stopped by to check on us. Very friendly.
Also ran into one of my favorite bartenders ever – Chris! Knew him from back in the day. It was great to catch up and see him doing well.

By far one of the most epic restaurants we’ve ever experienced anywhere. The food is always perfect and fresh. The owners are beyond gracious and will stop at nothing to make sure your dining experience is fantastic.

This place is amazing. Everything we ordered here was tasty and satisfying. We went from eating our own food to grabbing off each other’s plates. I cannot explain how delicious the food was so you may have to go try this place out for yourself. They did not disappoint. I was honestly surprised by the quality of the food. I definitely intend going back here and mostly because I keep thinking about it. This food is definitely made with love and care!

My sister and I made a reservation with Frank & Diannah’s Arbor Inn Restaurant early yesterday afternoon. They were fully booked but were able to accommodate us at the bar for our reservation. Frank was welcoming and greeted us at the door when we arrived. Not only was the seating at the bar comfortable, the environment was cozy and welcoming with the beautiful wood finishings. Corey, the bartender, was an exceptional host as well! He made suggestions for our dinner (Leek soup, Chicken Piccata, and of course a Brie and jam appetizer!) and also shared his wealth of knowledge around specialty cocktails! It was my first trip to Reading and I already have planned a trip back with my husband for Frank & Diannah’s famous Burger night on Thursdays. If you are looking for a home-cooked meal that is 5 Star cuisine, stop in to Frank & Diannah’s! Thank you, Frank and Corey!

Came here with my husband, dad & his girlfriend, and my grandparents. My dad chose this restaurant to try due to reading it had the best burgers. To start, it was kinda hard to find the entrance/parking lot. We would have missed it if we didn’t see my dad’s car in the parking lot and my grandparents did miss it. The burgers were good, but I wouldn’t say the best. The menu had a variety of things but not many comfort food type options. The room we were in got loud as it filled up. We made reservations and could only choose between 5 or 7:30 but there were definitely empty tables la Delicious overall and not against coming back.

We ate there for the first time last evening. The owner Frank was very gracious and made it a point to talk to all of the guests, he made people feel welcome, the atmosphere was comfortable, I’d say this is a casual place offering upscale dining options. We ate on the enclosed patio which was nice and toasty warm with propane heaters. They are following social distancing protocols. We actually sat at the bar which is now a socially distanced high top dining table. The menu had a nice variety of choices and most entrees were priced in the mid $20 range and included some PA Dutch foods unique to this area as well as some more diverse choices not found on other menus locally. Everything is homemade on the premises by the owner’s wife Diannah including the rolls. I enjoyed the Malaysian shrimp and scallops with rice noodles and my husband had the jerk Rib eye steak. Both entrees were delicious, the portions were plentiful and the presentation was superb. We normally don’t do dessert but they had choices that tempted us into trying them so my husband enjoyed the homemade chocolate pudding and I enjoyed the gingerbread ice cream sandwich which is a definite must try. I’ve never had anything like it and we’ll be going back to have it again for sure. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!
