I have had multiple plates of food at the Gadsden Mall Location and when I say the food is 10/10, Customer Service is 10/10, and the food is always fresh!! I love the soul food especially The Baked Chicken and Smack & Cheese!! The Philly Cheese Eggrolls are 10/10!! The Brunch menu is amazing also my favorite is the fish & grits!

I’ve came every chance I can and tried only half the menu so far, but I will say by far the best food around Gadsden!!! Philly egg rolls and okra is amazing there!!! Currently here eating right now as I type this!!!

For the oxtail meal to be 23.99 and get nothing but bones is insane . I love me some oxtails and tend to travel to get them . Living in Gadsden I was excited that finally there’s somewhere that has them , but to get them and only receive bones & it doesn’t even have flavor . 0/10 want get me again .

AMAZING FOOD!! Great flavor, friendly service, and budget friendly. They definitely cook with love. I got the baked chicken, fried okra, and black eyed peas. Seasoned to perfection and great portions. My friend got the baked spaghetti and a Philly cheese steak egg roll. Definitely exceeded expectations. We spent $30 for two meals, two drinks, and a eggroll and the portions could have been split between 4 people total. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. I will definitely be returning.

First time trying and was excited to not have to drive an hour+ away to get soul food. Appearance, well you see it. Doesn’t look like a soulful Sunday dinner at all. I was missing the cornbread. The taste didn’t make me smack nor lick my fingers/fork and, the cheese didn’t cover all the noodles.

I literally just got off the plane here visiting from Miami , this is my first time trying this!! It’s amazing! From the perfection in the seasoning, to the freshness in each item! I tried a variety of the egg rolls and they were ALL AMAZING! The chicken fettuccini hands down are my favorites! And they leave you full and fill!! 10/10

Didn’t have oxtails on the day we went. But I highly recommend the chicken and porkchops. Worth coming all the way from Rome, GA for. Hope to try to soul food next time! A wonderful black owned restaurant inside a amazing mall.

We got the porkchop and okra. Lemonpepper seasoning was a nice surprise. Actually added great flavor.

I am being quite generous with my star rating and will give this restaurant another visit. The food and atmosphere were nice. I did, however, have an issue with the chicken wings that I ordered. They were brown or bruised inside when I split them apart. Not very appetizing yet I ate them. This is Gadsden, Alabama and Southerners expect better quality when it comes to food. We are foodies! We expect better higher quality selections of our meat and other items. I made no fuss nor did I notify the manager, about my concern. Perhaps, they were having an off day and had ran low on supplies and bought additional chicken, in haste. Perhaps it had been frozen and thawed poorly. This restaurant must step up their game! I still encouraging people to visit it and give it a try. I also will give it another chance to redeem itself. However, I won’t order the chicken wings again!
Also, my family and I came for the “SOUL FOOD.” The sign reads, “Thursday-Saturday-Sunday” or something to that effect. Yet me and my guests were told that this wasn’t a day that they served SOUL FOOD. I believe that their sign is incorrect or misprinted, perhaps a language barrier with the dashes! Yep, I was disappointed but again, I am willing to give this establishment another try! A friend alerted me to try the Broad Street location for a comparison. In time pethaps, “we” just might do that. ‘Expecting more at my next visit!
