Pretty solid Cantonese restaurant! Came here for a family dinner hoping to eat some crab, but they were unfortunately sold out. The menu is pretty massive, but the workers were nice and gave us a bunch of recommendations of popular and which ingredients were the freshest that day! The food was pretty good and was served in large portions; I did find it to be on the saltier and oily side, but overall not bad! It was pretty loud and busy when I went on a weekday evening. Parking can be a bit tough, you’ll have to find street parking, but overall a solid choice to have your monthly family dinners at!

Overall a good experience. Food was quality Cantonese. They did forget to bring our beef balls and nearly charged us for it. (So double check your bill) Saw them eating it afterwards in their family meal. It’s an honest mistake but would have been nice to apologize about it.

Golden Coast serves authentic Cantonese Cuisine, Dim Sum & Steam Hot Pot which was my first time experiencing. You picked out the fresh seafood, meats & vegetables and the server will cooked it at your table in a hot pot by steam, you will enjoy each item individually and end up with an extremely delicious rice porridge at the bottom with all the fragrance from the ingredients that you picked out earlier.
It is a very healthy and tasty cooking technique originated from Southern China. Is a MUST try.

My S.O. has a Chefs Card written in Chinese that he has a food allergy to sesame and tree nuts. We were told that everything we ordered on the banquet meal had none of those. We were served the first appetizer with sesame seeds on everything, so he avoided that dish. Made it through the meal until the sweet buns, which we did not realize had black sesame in it. And of course left him throwing up immediately in the street. We could have avoided all of this if we knew what to avoid, but was assured by the staff nothing had his allergen in it.
As a person without the sesame and tree nut allergy, the food was OK, could have used a little more seasoning as it seemed bland for our banquet dinner.
Quick note about the area leading to the restrooms, be very careful walking to the restrooms. My elderly aunts, uncles, and parents almost slipped walking to the restroom.
Service was excellent, but that was the only thing notable about the meal aside my partner vomiting from his food allergy.

Recently re-discovered this place again with my family and we’ve been coming here for dim sum almost bi-weekly. They have a pretty good selection of dim sum and it’s by Ocean so you can go grab a few things after hand if need be. I love going to cherry blossom right after for a sweet treat!
