Bertile’s is such a hidden gem! Their breakfast takes me right back to the kind of home-cooked meals my mom and grandmother makes. Everything tastes fresh because it is fresh. From the fluffy pancakes with those perfectly crispy edges to the melt-in-your-mouth biscuits and eggs cooked just right, every bite feels like love on a plate.
Since everything is made to order, the line can get a little long at times, so be prepared for a bit of a wait, but trust me, it’s absolutely worth it. This is one of the closest breakfast experiences I’ve ever had to a real homemade meal. If you’re craving comfort, warmth, and true home-style cooking, Bertile’s is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Best food in town. ALL the food is wonderful. The women that work there are the most sweet and kind people you’d ever want to meet and they sure do know how to cook some great food.

I love Bertile’s chili cheese burger. The only thing I was upset about is the dining in. You can not dine in but they have a gazebo outside. I visit Grove Hill, Jackson and Chatom. I would really like to be able to dine in. I ride a motorcycle and I have events that ride through these cities. It would be nice to dine in.

Everything is fresh, hot, and cooked when ordered. Chili cheese dogs and chili cheese burger are fantastic! All food is well-seasoned. Service has that southern hospitality feel. Definitely will be back. Best place in Grove Hill.
