The experience was impressive from the moment I walked in. The first thing that stood out was the seating arrangement—spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Unlike many breakfast places that feel cramped or noisy, First Watch maintains a relaxed, airy environment that makes the meal feel more enjoyable. Their service style also deserves special mention. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, and our server checked on us at just the right moments. Orders arrived surprisingly quickly, even though the restaurant was quite busy, which shows they’ve mastered both organization and efficiency.
The food lived up to the hype. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, which aligns perfectly with the “farm-to-table” feeling they promote throughout their menu. Speaking of the menu, it truly stands out—creative, modern, and different from what you find at most breakfast spots. The variety is impressive, yet every item feels purposeful.
Among the dishes we tried, the Pesto Chicken Quinoa Bowl was a highlight—flavorful, hearty, and balanced. The Morning Meditation fresh juice was refreshing and vibrant, with natural ingredients shining through. The Smoked Salmon & Roasted Vegetable Frittata was another favorite, beautifully cooked and full of depth. We also enjoyed the Chickichanga and the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, both rich and satisfying. And of course, the kids absolutely loved their waffle, which was fluffy and perfectly sweet.
Overall, First Watch delivers an elevated breakfast/brunch experience with excellent food, friendly service, and thoughtful ambiance. Highly recommended.

First Watch is a great place to a breakfast or brunch. There some traditional options and some new age feeling healthier options. The staff is always great. They have a good gluten-free menu and it’s really the only breakfast place my celiac child trusts. I truly hope it stays that way.

First Watch in Lewis Center is a newer location. It is clean, open, airy, and a little more upscale than most. The service is quick and friendly. Your food will arrive quickly unless they are very busy. It can be a little noisy also at those times. The only downfall to my experience (after many visits) is an inconsistent product coming out of the kitchen.
One of my favorite items is the Farmhouse Hash. If done right, this is an amazing combination of flavors, however at times the potatoes are seriously under cooked and sometimes under ripe avocados also lower the bar. When you are spending $25 per person with tip I expect a more reliable experience.
Getting there the first time can be a little challenging as you will need to turn at the light just North of the location and go behind the building to enter the parking lot.
Special Note: The three private restrooms are spotless and two are wheelchair accessible.

The food was great and the mixed drink was delicious. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere is very inviting. They close at 2:30 but there is plenty of sitting and the food is served very fast. I highly recommend this place for a nice and quick bite to eat. You won’t leave hungry but you also won’t feel overly stuffed. The food options here are healthy and the prices are very reasonable

I truly enjoy dining at First Watch! The food is always hot, fresh and delicious! My wife and I love the Bacado omelet, filled with crispy bacon and ripe avocado! The service is great! Our server, Garrett, is friendly, knowledgeable and professional! He makes us feel welcome and is very pleasant! First Watch is an excellent restaurant!

Hosts were very welcoming. We were seated right away. Server was excellent. Very pleasant, polite and professional. Potatoes were underdone in some areas and perfectly cooked in others and were well seasoned but obviously there is a quality control issue. Asked for eggs over medium and came very runny (over easy).
