Normally I enjoy the burritos when the ingredients are fresh, but lately the rice has been crunchy and the meat has been old. I am writing this review because I reached out to the company about mold in my limes and I never received a response. I’m not sure how much I trust their ingredients now if the limes were sitting out long enough to grow mold.

Over priced taco bell/dell taco. A subway version of a taco shop. If you order a taco, they walk down the line and add what you want, same for the rest of the food. If you like a unique salsa or hot sauce, forget it. Its all store bought stuff. Not a fan of this place at all. Neither will you if you want authentic Mexican. On the plus side the tacos were edible. However, looking at the reviews it looks like they a good job on the bowls. If you want a good old fashioned carne asada burrito and some street tacos, the only place you’ll find close by is Chapparos.

First glance at the food & it doesn’t look fresh. Drove my burrito straight home & it was cold. Can’t believe I ate half of it, but I was starving. The rice tastes old & bland. The chicken looks & tastes like canned chicken with no seasoning. Upon throwing away half the burrito, I realized it had a funny smell. I am now sweating bullets wondering if I will have food poisoning. 100% gross. What was I thinking eating half of it?!! The servers were nice, though.

I went there expecting a cheap Chipotle Rip off… Who would of guessed that is the opposite of what I got! I consider Chipotle the rip-off of my brand new favorite restaurant the Big Burrito Company (BBC for short). Service was amazing as I was able to order my meal of cheese, ranch, side of beans, more ranch, and ground beef in a corn tortilla drizzled in a ranch sauce. The place is beautiful decorated in a warm mind-bending beige color. I liked that they stuck to playing the song “Funky Town” by Lipps Inc. on repeat the entire time I was there. It really clears the mind. The view is impressive with a clear shot into the vase streets of modern suburban America. The only beef I have with the restaurant is that they didn’t place enough ranch on my burrito bowl when I asked for it.

Came here with my husband an son at 5:03pm got 2 burritos an a burrito bowl. 3 people working the front but only one person helping us. The white rice was so hard you couldn’t chew it an there was flies everywhere with nothing covered. Super gross! The staff was okay

Burrito was mid. Not very much flavor. Would be better if there was more flavor in the food itself. My biggest concerns were that the place wasn’t being well managed. It’s hard for someone to come back to a place where the workers aren’t competent with their costumers. Seems like they don’t care.

Single order of nachos was enough for us to share. The shredded pork and salsa Verde is really good.
They were not skimpy with the toppings. Offered chips on the side or in the bowl, we chose half in the bowl.

Updated review for turn over of ownership.
It’s gotten worse. The flavor of the food is not the best. I think honestly it’s worse than the previous ownership. The place still looks a bit run down inside, no menus.
Nothing is served “hot” it’s warm at best. The Barbacoa tastes like ketchup.
The chips were stale, not even warm.
The carnitas tasted like pork tamale filling rather than good roasted carnitas, they were also sloppy wet carnitas.
Over all I’d give this place a pass, it’s not worth the money as everything has gone up in price.
Service was friendly.

Went in for $1 tacos and was treated rudely. Asked for 2 $1 tacos to which he stated “you know you have to buy something!” I told him I did know and would purchase a drink. Then I asked for olives and onions to which I received a rude reply. “No additions, the tacos deal is preset”. It wasn’t so much what he said but the tone was very rude.

We used Big River Burrito to cater our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner. Outstanding experience. Paul was very responsive and easy to work with. The set up was completed seamlessly and the food line was organized in way that made sense. Our guests made their nachos, burritos, burrito bowls etc. with a variety of proteins, vegetables, and fixins. Most importantly the food was delicious and there was lots of it! 10/10! Thank you Big River Burrito for helping to make a very special time for our family so nice.
