Our service was amazing. Food was above and beyond our already high expectations! Chef Chad came out and talk to us about the specials and Emily was not only one of the most personable bartenders we have meet in the Kalamazoo area but knowledgeable in her craft to boot! All around great job.

We love going to Mangia with our family! We have always had great food and amazing service. Not only does the staff put up with our toddlers, but they are good with them as well. It’s nice to go to a restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere and have an enjoyable dinner with the whole family. It can be a little pricey, but you get what you pay for in service, portions, cleanliness and taste!

We want to like this place and give it a try once or twice a year. Each time we go we are reminded on why we don’t visit more often.
Tonight we went for dinner, it wasnt very busy. I ordered the steak medalians and my wife ordered the Mangia chicken. We also ordered 2 margaritas and 2 waters.
Our waters never came, we also did not receive bread which the other tables all had.
The margaritas were terrible. They were served in a pint glass and tasted more like Mountain Dew than a traditional margarita, it was way way too sweet and you could not taste lime or tequila.
The mangia chicken tasted more like chicken at a Chinese restaurant than an Italian. It was incredibly sweet too.
I ordered my steak medium, it came very well done. I let the server know but she offered no option to fix the problem and must not have told a manager as no manager came by either.
It seems like this place needs a good general manager that focuses on quality control. They need better trained servers, cooks and prices that are lower to reflect the poor quality of the food. I think the owners focus on their downtown restaurant which has always been good.

Amazing Italian food and drink! Love the Pizza and Pasta but when the chef comes up with specials you are definitely in for a treat! Last night I had a Rigatoni with chicken, onions and a creamy sauce. It was absolutely delicious! And so large a portion I had enough for lunch again today!

Great service at the bar by laura, counter tops are great. Fried chicken was delicious. Great service in general. The chicken was so delicious I lost track of time as my tastebuds drifted off into a journey of flavor and never ending pleasure. Will eat here again. Erika also helped seat us with the swiftness of a eagle protecting her young. This experience will sure be one to cherish for a lifetime. Thanks mangia!

Delicious food! Nice place to relax & have a romantic dinner! Little pricey. Server didn’t ask us if we wanted dessert. Too full anyway! Server seemed like she was in a hurry to get rid of us.

I believe it is now called jacs, but the place is very nice! Service was too notch by everyone! And food was reasonably priced and was VERY good! We had a thin crust pizza (which I normally wouldn’t prefer) however it was prepared perfect, and the toppings and sauce were litteraly mouth watering. I will be back soon! Great job staff!

Great atmosphere in a comfortable setting with quiet booths set in brick enclosures, or open tables. Two sided fireplace and separate areas available for groups. Pizza was very tasty and several specials run during the week. Italian theme and menu offerings, although all types are available.

This has the small town, very authentic Italian restaraunt feel to it. A nice, cozy little place that will get you some quality homemade Italian food!

If you like LaCantina in Paw Paw or Mangia downtown, this is basically the same food by the same owners, just so you know what you’re getting.

Get the Mangia Chicken, seriously. You will NOT regret it!
