This place place should close in the evening. Instead, they take all of their food off the heated serving line. Take the food in the back. From there, they serve you cold southern comfort food!!!! Who wants cold greens, cold macaroni & cheese, cold beef tips & rice!!! This experience was almost digusting. I know I was completely disappointed!!This was a miserable representation of great Dallas family dining legacy!!! The prices far exceed the value of the meal!!! (I knew their price were too high the first time I came.) This was my second visit. I recommend you drive down the road to “Sweet Georgia Brown” for better food and better value for the dollar for great southern comfort food!!!!

I tried it again after i got 3 puny salty oxtails lasy yr and it’s time they close down cuz what is this? I cant even eat the brisket..chewed so much my head hurt and it taste like dry cardboard. the yams taste like sweet potato pie, the mac taste like processed cheese, the greens are a disgrace. I was all excited that I got 2 pieces of cornbread and its dry cornmeal & half of it is so hard it not edible. Just close down. y’all had a good run but it’s just not it anymore.

Got a chance to come in & was excited to try this place out. It’s a hole in the wall, but that doesn’t mean anything. We got our food & it was just ok. I paid for a red velvet cake too. I asked her if she or it in the bag & she assured me that she had. I get to my destination & find that the cake isn’t in there. SMH I won’t be back.

This is why you have to read reviews. I’m not even sure when the decline of Hardeman’s started but out on a limb I tried and ewwwyuckkkk. Who boiled this brisket and then stuck on top of some fire, did you even clean it no seasoning no taste not even of a bit of being smoked. Greens taste like they came straight from the ground, no meat, no seasoning againnnn. That broccoli cheese casserole overcooked everything mushy… let me not say anything about the cornbread which is just cornmeal

Been coming here for years for the loaded baked potato and the quality and taste has declined. The potato uses to be loaded with every single ingredient, falling off the potato. Not anymore. Although it’s still very good, it’s not the same. The rest of the food like ribs and sides are also JUST OK.

The slice beef sandwich that I ordered was extremely tough and barely even warm and I went at 12:00 lunch time so I figured it would be at least a fresh batch, this is the second time that I went up there and have had terrible food I will not be going up there again especially for the prices they’re charging for the food is extremely high but the quality is even worse I used to love hardeman’s about 5 years ago now it’s just went downhill completely

Everything was good except the bbq beans. They did not taste like a bbq bean. They taste like they were from a can. Peach cobbler was on point. It was $6 for the peach cobbler. No seasoning for the green beans either. The chicken was okay. It was their lunch special for $9.99. Employees were nice.
