Incredible food, the thai noodles were perfectly cooked. The spice level of your dish is customisable, which makes everything much more available to all guests, as a white boy I thought the medium spice was perfect. The service was consistent and friendly. In Newaygo there are very few if any good ethnic spots, so this place was refreshing. The only thing is that the dinning room is very small, but as their business grows so will it. I will definitely be going back.

The service was great, and the food was hot and fresh (homemade quality). We ordered the Fried Dumplings and Wings Zaap. The dumplings were crispy and tasty, but the wings were on another level with flavor. We would definitely order both again. For main dishes, we ordered the Tom Yum fried rice (spicy with chicken) and Drunken Noodles (medium with beef). Both were good and met our expectations for spice level. I would just note that the Drunken Noodles were saucier than I’ve had at other restaurants – I prefer this over the more oily, sticky noodles. My husband also ordered a Thai Milk coffee. It was tasty and not too sweet! Great ambience and friendly staff. Looking forward to returning to try more from the menu.

Our server was fantasic, attentive and nice. The cafe is super clean cute and cozy. We tried the druken noodles, dumpling soup and boboa tea. All were amazing. Im telling u to try the druken noodles, i got them medium heat and it was well balanced and really fresh. I cant wait to try more of the menu. Well worth the wait.

My wife and I typically look for a Thai food restaurant any time we visit a new area, so I’ve eaten at many over the years. This might just be the best one I’ve been to so far…! I got the Kao Soy with crispy chicken and my wife got the Pad Thai and then we shared the Crab Rangoons. Paid just under $40. Everything was fantastic and we both have leftovers for another meal

My experience wasn’t a great one. I understood that there was a wait because it’s a new restaurant.
I came in late at night and saw there was a line, it tried to use their kiosk and it down to some type of subscription that needed to be paid. When I placed my order I ask I’m guessing about 25 minutes, the nice lady at the desk said it would be more like 35 minutes. I said okay I’ll go do something until then.
Became back, got one drink that wasn’t even full. (Now I am a big bubble tea fan, I have had full to brim cups with the the lid, and they even advertise at a full cup that’s why I gave a one star for the food) I even asked the lady I said hey I don’t think the machine filled the cup up fully. She said that they film them like that so there’s room for the lid.
Then I waited around for another 15 minutes and so we’re close to the one hour mark. I asked hey is my food almost done and then the nice lady at the counter said it’s gonna be another 15 minutes. At that point, I was over it. I have no problem waiting for food if someone said hey we have a lot of people you’re looking at like an hour to wait for food. I would’ve been more OK with that.
Overall, the place looked really nice, the music was nice. The food looked good. I wish I would’ve just been able to eat because I was really looking forward to this place.

Well, I was so hopeful that this would be good, or at least get better as to save traveling to GR, Rockford or elsewhere. I love Thai food and have had great Thai dishes in my travels. I have now tried three different dishes at Kinn Thai, at different times, hoping for something to shine- sadly it has not. Both the Drunken Noodle and the Red Curry had very little flavor profile. I feel like both were very “brothy”, like way too much chicken broth or something. The Pad Thai was also missing its flavor profile that you would typically find. I also noticed they are using sweet basil rather than Thai basil in their recipes, which has totally different taste- to me its like putting ketchup on a steak to use sweet basil. The items I ordered are staples of a Thai restaurant menu, so they should be way better than what Kinn Thai is putting out. On a positive note, the prices were good, and my wife does like the soups.

Food was good however I ordered pad Thai with mild spice and it was fairly spicy. I thought maybe it was just me but had others try it and they said the same thing. We also ordered the drunken noodles with mild spice and that was more what I was expecting. Id Definitely go here again but im sad the mild pad thai is as spicy as it is.i spoke with the resturant after and they stated the pad thai has a spicy sauce to begin with so just be conscious when ordering!
Also they’re VERY conscious of food allergies which I LOVE!

Waan Wonder World
We had a wonderful experience at Kinn Thai Cafe! The place is cozy, clean, and welcoming — perfect for a relaxed meal. We tried the Pad Thai and Jungle Curry, and both were absolutely delicious, full of authentic Thai flavors. The staff were very friendly and made me feel right at home. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for tasty Thai food and warm service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Let me start off by singing the praises of the food. This red curry dish was everything I wanted. It was so yummy that I almost ate the whole time with 2 orders of rice in one sitting and then couldn’t wait and ate my leftovers for breakfast the next morning. The exact right mix of spicy and sweet. I wanted to drive back today and order it again, it was that good.
Since there was a longer wait for my takeout order, I stopped in and ordered and then took a walk at a nearby park and grabbed a few things from Leppinks. When I got back, it turns out that someone else had taken my food (hopefully mistakenly and not on purpose because come on people!). The staff was so kind about the situation, rushing to make me a new order and refunding me for the inconvenience. I was incredibly impressed and touched by them going above and beyond what I expected in that moment.
So, yes … while there are a few things this small, new restaurant still needs to figure out (including decreasing wait times for food – don’t plan on this if you are rushed for time), everything else was so amazing, I will definitely be back again and again.
