Champions has always been a good spot, but we just tried the food for the first time and it is impressive. Our group all got different things on the menu to give it a true test and everything was great! Pro tip: Go for the steak tacos or the steak quesadillas , the steak is real, not that cheap frozen stuff.

It was so great to hear that Champions Sports Bar brought back the pizza recipe and quality I remember from my days at Great American Pizza in Homer Glen! The taste was just as incredible as I remembered, and it was such a nostalgic experience. The service was excellent, and the quality of the food was top-notch. The staff were friendly. Ordered a pizza, it was overcooked to the point of being slightly burnt and not good flavor. Very expensive and charged a 3.99% “convenience” fee for credit card payment with no warning or signage stating this charge. Can’t speak for their other food, but I would avoid the pizza.

DO NOT GO HERE!! My friends and I went to have fun with a friend for his birthday. I am not exaggerating when I say this is the rudest bartender I have ever encountered. She immediately had attitude to simple questions. Everybody has a bad day, so that was overlooked. When she was asked if a lime could be put in a drink, she said she hadn’t cut one and that refused to do so. She then scoffed at a drink request. While admittedly weird, having somebody roll their eyes at you in a service setting is so disrespectful. I firmly believe in being polite to everybody in the service industry, having worked in it myself. But, I felt like from the moment we walked in the door, there was a chip on her shoulder for some inexplicable reason. We had one drink, texted every friend on their way, and picked a new location just to have a couple drinks. We will never return. Worst bartender experience of my entire life.

Great spot for a Friday night to sit and watch a game. The crowd was very friendly with a lot of regulars but they welcomed a couple of rookies with open arms. We had a pizza, with some fries, and plenty of beers all tasty. Definitely not a spot to bring a toddler but if you are just going to hang out with adults this is the spot in town. Will be coming back for sure.

After our last experience we will never go to Champions again. We loved this place and like the atmosphere but this time we were met with a complete disrespect for new patrons and horrible service. We immediately noticed that people that they new got great service and were attended to constantly. We got our first round of drinks, finished them and then waited… and waited and waited as 3 employees walked passed is several times and didn’t even give us a glance. Finally I asked one of the employees that was walking passed us if we had a server and if we could get more drinks. While stumbling over his words he said we would have to place the order with the bartender, the only person actually serving in the whole bar. We placed our order and when our drinks were about half way empty the same employee who apparently couldn’t take our order asked if we needed drinks. We said no at the time but then when they were empty we asked for more and he said we needed to go to the bar! What?! Meanwhile him and another gentleman literally just stood there, ALL NIGHT. And I am not exaggerating. I almost feel bad for the bartender who was the only one doing work but she was super rude when we did need things. Needless to say we left way before we ever planned.

Service is great when not so crowded, menu is common, atmosphere is for the local/home teams. Beer wise you’ll find the avg thirst quenched with the most common of drinks…this place has yet to realize a local relationship with a brewery near by to have their own distinct beer would go far to make it a local hidden gem, as far as most go it’s no diff than any of the other local spots.
