Just finished our meal here – absolutely incredible food. We got the jerk chicken bowl, jerk chicken loaded fries, and a beef patty.
First, the portion size is truly incredible. The fries were $14 and I could not eat the whole plate even though I wanted to.
The flavors are bold and delicious. Loved the salsa on top of the fries, and the jerk chicken itself has a nice heat to it. The beef Patty’s crust was flaky and the beef was well-seasoned and delicious.
Super friendly and warm service as well. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I stopped by tonight for the first time. I had read several reviews that were very positive of the food. I ordered their jerk chicken meal, and it lived up to their five star review ratings. While the jerk chicken was tasty, what really shocked me was how delicious both the cabbage and the plantains were. I expected to dislike both since I normally do, but these were so good. I would go back just for them. The mac & cheese also was delicious and not something you would find at a typical restaurant that utilizes mac & cheese from Sysco or Gordon’s. The quality flavor of their food comes from having an actual real chef make it, and not relying on canned or frozen foods brought in and reheated.
This restaurant is relatively new and you can tell they’re still getting things set up. I would like to see more indoor tables for dining in and a fountain machine for beverages. Throw a couple kid friendly items on the menu and we would make this a regular stop for a family night out. Everyone there was super friendly and helpful, and the restaurant space was very clean.
If you’re looking for something flavorful, definitely give this spot a try. It’s challenging to run a restaurant and I hope to see them succeed. And I know this sounds odd, but that cabbage and the plantains were absolutely amazing and I’m certainly going back this weekend to get some more!

The food was so good!! It’s got a kick to it, so be prepared if you aren’t used to eating spicy food. The bbq sauce is delicious! The chicken was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The cornbread was very good! Sweet, light, and moist. There was a good amount of food for the price. Will definitely be going back!

We ordered the jerk shrimp bowl, jerk chicken bowl, and the jerk oxtail bowl, plus two jerk chicken egg rolls, pineapple upside down cake, a pineapple pop, and ginger beers. Every single bite was flavorful and delicious! The oxtails were the standout and that is coming from someone trying oxtails for the very first time! They were fall-apart tender, rich, and full of deep, slow-cooked flavor. Truly unforgettable and now I understand!
The cornbread was fluffy and light, not dry at all. Absolutely love it! The cabbage balanced the heat and complemented the jerk spice, which was on point! Spicy, smoky, and satisfying without being overpowering.
And dessert… Did you see the size of that pineapple upside down cake?? It was the perfect ending. Sweet but not too sweet, moist, comforting, and just right.
Very happy we stopped in! Newly opened with bold flavors, generous portions, and food that clearly comes from passion and skill! My compliments to the Chef and Chef Jr.! Highly recommend. If you haven’t been yet, fix that immediately!

This place is amazing. Total family atmosphere. Chef came out and greeted us and even made homemade chicken tendies for my 6yr old. Everything was amazing. The Oxtail Tacos are worth every penny! I will be visiting as much as I can. #mango-pico

I have had this place twice and both times were great. The first was a catered event and we were surprised by how much we liked it. It made us go and check out their new location and ordered carry out. Big portions for reasonable prices and amazing flavors. Jerk chicken is so good. Fried plantains were caramelized and yummy. mac and cheese was solid. everything tasted fresh and homemade. Will be adding this place to our regular rotation.

Make sure you try the rum cake! It is so good. Definitely top 3 ox tails I’ve ever had. Jerk chicken wings were good but there were more sweet than spicy, I was hoping for more heat. Definitely coming back.

I truly hate to be the 1st bad review. Been trying to find a good jamaican spot here In Michigan. I came across this 5 star place , made a trip all the way from Warren excited but my experience wasn’t that. The beef patty seemed like Its been sitting Out for hours.. very dry, made my stomach bubble. I got the jerk chicken bowl, the sauce just taste like BBQ, rice Is OK, cabbage wasn’t Impressed.. I was just unhappy between the time And money wasted, hopefully when I try to plantain that’ll be good. Just might not be for my tasting, very respectful And good service tho!!
