Drove an hour to come and try this place and was not disappointed. The environment was so welcoming. We were assisted by Ricky who did an amazing job at recommending what we should get. Mia was very courteous during the checkout as well. The food was delicious and I will definitely be coming back.

10/17/25 2:27 pm – We have been frequenting this location since it opened (summer of 2022 or 2023?). Had conversations with the manager who told us a few months ago that he was opening another location I believe in another Florida town. It has never disappointed until today. Not sure if there was no manager on-site or they hired folks who aren’t properly trained, or if they’ve had a big price increase. Today is Friday, and we do not eat meat on Friday. So I ordered a small (2) bowl of just Lo mein noodles, and was told that I couldn’t get a small bowl if I wasn’t getting a second item (I wanted the second item to be more Lo mein noodles). In other words, she wanted to put my noodles in a cardboard container – this has never happened before. I told her that I wanted a bowl and that I wanted just the chow mein noodles. She finally dished them up – reluctantly. My husband ordered the larger (4) bowl with fried rice and Lo mein noodles (no meat). She was very skimpy with the portion (wasn’t even to the top of the bowl) and he asked her to put more noodles. We then ordered a third bowl for our son (who does eat meat on Friday) and it contained Lo mein noodles and orange chicken. This was for carryout and we were shocked when we were at the register to check out ($40.63). After we left, we looked at the receipt which really did not make any sense. First of all, it was labeled “Dine In” which it was not. They charged my small bowl at $11.99 for Bourbon Chicken and Lo Mein Noodles – I did not get any chicken. They charged my husband’s bowl at $12.99 for Bourbon Chicken and Fried Rice – he did not get any chicken either but rather Lo mein noodles. The third bowl was labeled correctly as Lo Mein Noodles and Orange Chicken at $12.99. So, it seems that the two no meat bowls were charged out as if we got meat. Plus, my husband said their fried rice did not taste good. Very disappointing experience today.

At Panda Express, we never have this problem – they do not argue with the customer when we ask for double noodles and no meat. They do not charge for meat that we never got. And their food is always delish!

Sure wish they would build a Panda Express in this town!

I have been hoping Panda Express would come to Vero Beach but then Bambuu came along and satisfied my American Chinese food cravings! Many of the foods were very similar like the fried rice, lo mein, orange chicken, egg rolls, and cream cheese rangoon. I love that they also have udon noodles and lots of healthy options too (like brown rice, quinoa, spinach, and kale). And the yum yum sauce (like spicy mayo) is very good. Instead of serving on plates, they are served in bowls. I came, expecting Panda Express quality and I think this was a little fresher and had more of the charred wok-hei taste and smell, which I love!

I only had one complaint. I tried to make it easy on both me and on the servers by typing my order in a list so that they could read it instead of trying to understand me through my mask. That worked perfectly! But if I had seen the Honey Sesame Shrimp, I would not have gotten it. It was NOTHING like I expected. I think they put the wrong food item out. It was plain shrimp with green peppers. It was not at all sweet and there was no sesame. I hope that isn’t their version of Honey Sesame Shrimp. I thought it would be more like the Sesame Chicken with batter fried shrimp and sweet sauce. Hopefully that was an error and they will have the Honey Sesame Shrimp like I’m expecting the next time I go.

I will definitely be back for the Orange Chicken and Bourbon Chicken. The beef in the Beef With Vegetables is suuuuper tender. The Kimchi Green Beans were pretty flavorless – not even spicy. The Mongolian Chicken I think was battered? It was just ok – more like a soggy breading than batter but the flavor was good. Chicken egg rolls were ok, but did have an odd smell. I didn’t like the sauce packets and I used my own Thai Sweet Chili Sauce when I got home. I think the Cream Cheese Rangoons had been sitting there a while and were a bit dried out. But I’m sure they were great when they were fresher and they were good in the Yum Yum sauce. Overall, it was a great first experience and I will be back whenever I have my “Panda Express” cravings!

It felt like a bolay version of Asian food. The food isn’t as good as what you get from a food court though. I enjoy veggies, but this was the worse I’ve had. Their chow mein was decent, but dried out like it was under the warming lamps for too long. The bambuu bourbon chicken was enjoyable, but the orange chicken “scoop” I got in the takeout box was flavorful enough, but 2/3rds was a single fatty and connective tissue mass with some chicken substance. The purple rice was the poorest preparation I’ve ever had and it was stuck in gelatinous-like masses. Even the egg roll was lacking flavor. Portions are large, but doesn’t matter when you’re not wanting to continue eating it. I won’t be back.

This was my first time here to this restaurant and I’ve got to say that it was very enjoyable food. I had the pork and also the orange chicken with fried rice. I also had some crab rangoon and everything was top quality.

I’ll start by saying you should not go in expecting fine dining, this is a quick food place. However the food is fresh, flavorful, and hot. The service is amazing and quick.
I’ve eaten here 2 times this week and it’s only Tuesday.
Try it out!

Panda Express gives me more and for a better deal. I should’ve walked out as soon as I saw how much rice was place into my bowl. I rather driving to Melbourne or PSL for Panda instead of the 10 mins drive to Bambu. Never coming back to this restaurant ever again.
