My husband and I visited the shop twice, and wish we’d visited more. We even brought home goods with us.
Service was friendly and efficient during both visits.
My favorite was the lemon blueberry whiopie pie. The pumpkin spice was also delicious.
My husband enjoyed the toasted coconut cupcake and some sort of chocolate mud brownie. All were happily consumed!
I recommend this pastry shop when visiting bar harbor. And take some back home with you too!

Pink Pastry Shop in Bar Harbor offers a wide selection of classic Maine treats like whoopie pies and blueberry pie, plus coffee and breakfast options. The desserts are tasty and perfect for grabbing to-go, but prices are a bit high. Service quality can be hit or miss, with some staff friendly and others less so. It’s a good stop for a sweet tooth, but be prepared for premium pricing.

I stopped by Pink Pastry and tried a couple of their seasonal offerings: a Pumpkin and Chocolate Whoopie Pie and a Pumpkin Latte.
Unfortunately, I found that both of the pumpkin items significantly lacked a robust pumpkin flavor. It seemed like the items might have been added to the menu more for their seasonal popularity than for their quality or depth of flavor. While I was still able to generally enjoy them, they weren’t what I was hoping for when ordering a pumpkin treat.
Additionally, the whoopie pies were on the dry side. A good whoopie pie should be moist and tender, and these missed the mark a bit.
Overall: It was an okay visit, but the quality of the seasonal flavors and the dryness of the whoopie pie kept it from being a truly satisfying experience.

Stopped by here to see if they had gluten free treats. They had a few options for gluten free. Everyone was very friendly and we had a good experience. They only accept cash and they are mostly takeout because there aren’t any seating areas.

A delicious introduction to Whoopie Pies for this Texan. Had the red velvet whoopie, which was excellent, but the blueberry whoopie with lemon in the middle was a favorite—absolutely divine. The caramel cheesecake was also really really good.
Add to the delicious food the fact that the folks who work there are friendly and helpful, and this place quickly has become a dessert favorite. Treat yourself!

The staff was friendly and fast to get everything together to go. The display allows you to look at the pastries while you wait in line, there was plenty of room inside to move around. The line moved fast and remained short. The lemon blueberry whoopie pie and chocolate caramel cake were fluffy and flavorful. The blueberry pie was delicious and did not last long enough to be photographed; it was flakey and packed with blueberries.

We came across this bakery while walking along Cottage Street and so glad we did because we ended up there 3 times during our visit to Bar Harbor. Incredibly nice owners who reconginized our return and greeted us as if we were longtime friends. Our go to ended up being their delicious blueberry pie slices-DELICIOUS! Flaky, homemade crust. Not fake sweet, full of fresh blueberries and baked by someone who knows how to make a real pie. We ended up buying a whole pie to take back to NY. Coffees were great, too. Made fresh in front of you. Looking forward to stopping back here on our next visit to the area. You should too.

Want a sweet treat after a long day of hiking at Acadia? This is the place! Excellent iced lattes, fabulous cupcakes and the Maine Mud Square…a chocolate lover’s delight. Nicest people working here, too. I wish we had been in Bar Harbor longer, I loved this place! Bring cash, though, no credit cards accepted. Very handy ATM at the counter, so no worries if all you have is plastic.

This is a sweet spot for sweet teeth. I’ve never had a cupcake or pastry here that I didn’t like. Lots of options including a variety of drinks like coffee, tea, iced tea, and smoothies. Cash only at this little shop.

We ordered a blueberry lemon moon pie. The blueberry cake was similar to a blueberry muffin in texture and taste. The lemon icing filling had a nice taste. Being cash only seems like a mistake. They had some good looking pies and cakes. No seating.
