The absolute worst carne asada I’ve ever had in my life. I would feel bad feeding my dog this. Comes out as two hunks of meat not even chopped up absolutely tough and zero seasoning. $20 a meal I’d rather would have lit $60 on fire golden margarita. Not worth it. Great atmosphere service not bad food sucks the Mexican rice and beans taste like something I make at home completely not authentic. Sitting here forcing myself to eat this for lunch at work pissed writing this review

First time visiting this restaurant. When we walked in, it was busy. We were seated right away. Their menu is extensive with lots to choose from. We all liked the chips and salsa. After placing our order of four i thought it would take a long time being how the restaurant was busy. To my surprise the food was out within 10 minutes. Everything tasted great. The portions were big and our server was very attentive. Don’t remember his name but he was the older gentleman. We will definitely be back again.

Yes, California’s the Midwest finally got street tacos on point. This restaurant has authentic taste of Mexico. The Fajita Tropicana is to die for i have never had it. This place needs billboards telling Ottawa travelers they are here. This is Midwest hidden gem Mexican Food eatery in Ottawa,IL. Im proud to have found this place after tasting real authentic Mexican Food in CA the Midwest is subpar. FMG has restored my taste to great food.

The guacamole was from a bag & the salsa taste like marinara. Other than that everything was great! I love dumping the cheese sauce all over whatever I order & their verde sauce is pretty mild which just means I can use more.

The boyfriend picked up steak tacos after an extremely long day. Tell me why he spent almost $40 for 6 DRY steak tacos and they didn’t even come with rice and beans!! Salsa verde is a MUST for steak tacos and they gave us two salsa rojos. I knew we should have just ordered GDL talk about a waste of money.

I cannot give more than 3 stars due to the amount of Flys for an indoor resturaunt. I had at least 4 large 3 small and 2 very small Flys bother me entire meal.
As to the meal was good, Encilades we warm on outside but filling was hot. the quasadillia was just thrown together but taste was still great, just sloppy eating.
