Oh wow they sure do know how to make bread!! I went Saturday late afternoon there’s no pastries left:( Came back the day after. I had lemon blackberry bun, golfeado and cappuccino. All items were amazing!! ⛳️I’ve never had golfeados before so don’t have much experience with telling if it’s authentic or not. But look how pretty it is!! The dough is dense, soft and gooey. If you like an unconventional seasoned sticky bun, this could be a fun item to try! Lemon blackberry bun has lemon zest and blackberry jam fillings with icing and lemon zest on top. The jam is slightly sour which balances well with the sweetness. Not sure if they seasoned it with fennel seeds or it’s just anise seeds fell off from the golfeado. But if they did, it’s quite genius!!! ☕️Coffee is great too. I’ve been to so many coffee shops around Boston but their cappuccino tastes significantly different than others. The beans have a distinguished fruity flavor you won’t miss!

Cute little corner spot, great for people watching. I was hoping they had some scones without a glaze on top on the particular day I went and they didn’t but maybe on other days they do. The chocolate bread was super cute on Valentine’s Day with a heart on top.

The bakery items are delicious. The coffee could be improved. It is weak tasting and barely warm and needs improvement. The 5 stars are for the baked goods and lovely staff. Please fix the coffee and you will be perfect. Their menu board is down because they realized after a few days they need to streamline and revamp the menu so sadly they will be reducing their offerings.

Love this place, how sunny and warm it feels inside! Tried their stuffed sofritos – loved the flavor of the sofrito, steak was tender and toppings were fresh – could’ve used a bit more salt. The dream cookie was also delish, have to try the others!!

Tried out this new bakery in Davis Square yesterday. There was already a long line waiting for the doors to open at 8 am.

A whole lot of eager customers waited eagerly for their turn – our turn took 30 minutes of patient waiting to reach the door.

Very delicious offerings!! Slightly on the pricey side for the baked offerings and for the coffee.

Lots of street parking around.

Since we had our dog with us, one of us had to stay outside while the other shopped. Quite a few of the customers waiting in line had brought along their dogs. One recommendation, have a doggie harness station outside on the footpath – kinda like one sees in old western movies for horseradish.

Wish you all the very best!!

Very cute place for pastries! I grabbed a ginger cranberry scone. The cranberries migrated to one side (not good), but the ginger was very sharp (good!) I’d love to try other things! Very good prices for the size and taste

Off to a good start! We bought the chocolate croissant, lemon blackberry loaf, and ginger-orange scone. Scone was American style, buttery and very flavorful. Lamination on the pastries was great. They were a touch over-baked and thus dry. Large, buttery, puffy croissants.
The coffee is locally roasted and good quality. Was brewed right when I had it, I look forward to trying their espresso bar. The hot chocolate was bad, unfortunately, the oat milk had cooked & became jellylike. The ratio could be tweaked, it felt like a mocha with the espresso removed rather than its own flavorful menu item.
Atmosphere is cute and becoming comfortable with time. However, the feng shui is off: when you check out, there’s no clear path to move out of line & settle in, which was uncomfortable. The super-vintage furniture and decor is cute and I imagine will all pull together with the more modern appliances as Hearth & Hug settles in.

A solid bakery/cafe in the Davis square area. There is not a ton of seating inside and parking is limited to permitted street parking. Luckily it is very accessible via bike path, minutes away from the Davis sq T stop, and a bus top for the 88 and 90 buses right outside.

So yummy! Got the smoked salmon tea sandwich and the white miso coconut cookie. Sandwich was $14, very tasty, and came with a generous size of the most delicious french fries on the side!! The cookie was amazing too, savory and sweet!!

Ordered the whole carrot cake for a friend’s birthday back in February and I still think about how yummy it was!!! Ordering over the phone was super easy and the staff were so nice when I picked up. The cake was moist and so flavorful and we loved the cream cheese-y frosting! Super balanced flavor, not too sweet, and UGH SO GOOD.
