Gone here for years! Even before when it was Sun Tacos. This new restaurant is delicious, big portions. Friendly staff. Quick service. They even have a drive thru which makes it convenient. The horchata is and I love their red salsa. Try it out!

Tried this spot cause the reviews said the rolled tacos were good. Did not disappoint ! The tacos were bomb and I can’t wait to come back. The only thing that was a bummer was I was asked what salsa I wanted and I said red but I got one red and one green. So I only was able to use one of them but it was so good. I wish I had one cup for each of my 3 tacos. Yum! I will be back!

My food was absolutely disgusting and burnt and just all the way around horrible and then was told to bring disgusting burnt food back to the store! I explained that I work 20 minutes away, was told if I want my money back then bring food back! HORRIBLE!!! I also explained I was in lunch and that gas is $6.20 gallon for me to just bring nasty burnt food back but I’m in my way to give their disgusting food back

Do not waste your time with this place. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt because they’re so close to me but every time I go there, the food is trash, The service is horrible, They never give you what you ask for, if you ask for green sauce your getting red, and don’t dare ask for limes, never leave before you check your bag if you do go to this place.

Formerly Sun Tacos I was introduced to this local La Mesa business about 9 years ago when I went down with my girlfriend at that time. It’s been through some different names but it’s still the same food with some minor additions over that time. Great food at a reasonable price with some outstanding customer service when you order food. Everything on the menu is going to be great and delicious and always fresh. Every time we go down there it’s the usual spot to go when arriving and when leaving La Mesa If you’re in the area it’s a must-visit and enjoy some good Mexican food.

This place used to be a lot better. The Carne asada is really good but they barely put any in the burritos these days.

I got 2 taco combo. The I asked for shredded beef. It looks like beef but so very bland. No taste. The rice and beans were ok. Plenty of lettuce and tomatoes. I wouldn’t have minded the long wait if the food was decent. So bummed. Sun Tacos was so much better.

Potato taco combo was good. Enchiladas were too spicy for my hubby. He likes 0 on spice scale. Service was friendly. Place looks pretty run down, but the food was good.
