Really great pub. Nice dive bar feel without the fear of hepatitis. The key to this place is their craft beer. It’s all made just down the street at ECR’s tap room, which is also very cool. Prices are reasonable. Food looked okay even though i just had beer. Speaking of the beer, this stuff is great. I’m so sick of being punched in the face with “all the hops i can fit into this beer” kinds of beer. It’s like in the Midwest they think, “If i add more cheese, it’ll be better!” No, it won’t. Just like, “If I add more hops, it’ll be better!” No, it won’t. These folks know what their doing. Their beer has the proper balance of bitter and floral, and you still get touches of malt. It’s a beer a German would happily drink warm. We sang karaoke, which my friends hate, but i love it. They could only tolerate my screeching because the beer is so good. Stop in and have a pint.

Trivia night review: REALLY FUN! Would 100% do it again. Our host was great, our wings were absolutely delicious, the vibes was really fun. Our group was just us 2 … so we lost to a group of 6 older gentlemen with so much wisdom so LOL we had no chance. Still had fun just participating though. Might try to come back again next this week 🙂

Walked into pretty empty place with no greeting or acknowledgement by anyone, figured out on our own that we needed to seat ourselves and walk up to the bar and order beverages and simple bbq ribs with sweet potato fries as a side. We should have noticed that the existing patrons had no food but we found out why as it took a ridiculous amount of time to receive our orders (two orders of the same thing – 6 ribs and sweet potato fries in each order) and the ribs were extremely overcooked and so dry it was like jerky, and the fries were so dehydrated that they were like chips.
Only positives were the many TV screens and clean floors and tables so don’t come here for food, just if you want to watch sports, play pool, and grab your own drinks.

I visited this pub over two separate visits and they were always slow to service new customers, instead focusing on locals. It took the male bartender 11 minutes to acknowledge me on a Friday night at 9 p.m. His attitude was poor to say the least. Ordering a second drink later on in the evening was liking pulling teeth.
When I asked his counterpart to help me pay my tab, it took them collectively 20 minutes to let me close my tab.
Great beer, but unfocused bartenders.
