Perfect 5/5.

We were here for brunch and the food was too good.

Loved the menu and the dishes.

Biscuits and Mushroom gravy was the best brunch dish we had in a while.

Would recommend this place to anyone who is on a day trip to vashon and want to eat at a decent place.

Elegant bar and gastropub in the heart of Vashon. The chocolate chip cookie with whipped cream was incredible — truly best in class. The BBQ pork sandwich was flavorful and satisfying, and the service was excellent and attentive throughout. A must-visit when on the island.

What an absolutely wonderful spot! The food, the service, and the smoked pork chops…. Also, I fell in love with their napkins. I asked the wonderful server if I could buy a few from them so that I could use them as hankies. He and the owner were so kind and offered me brand new ones when I would have purchased the used ones happily.
We can’t wait to take our children back the next time we visit the island.

Thank you!

Come for the Sunday brunch, and make sure to grab a sausage egg sandwich with a side of hot sauce. It’s a transformative experience.

Top tier food! We had the noodle soup and the mushroom melt. Both were incredibly delicious. It’ll definitely be a place we stop again when we’re on the island next!

Ruby Brink was suggested by someone we met earlier in the day and they were right about this place. The restaurant doubles as a butcher and they stock two cows and a pig each month and pair all the protein with other farm to table sides. We had the pork chop that can only be had in the restaurant, the smoked sprat potato salad, and a pork pistachio patte…. The pork chop was the star, the spiced crust was so good!!!! Rice pudding for dessert and we were off to the ferry! Will definitely be back!

This place is life affirming. You show up however you are and they meet it and leave you feeling warm and full. The service is spot on, they partner with you in your choices, never cloying, it’s not about them. Cocktails are first class, food is awesome. Everything about Ruby Brink is heartfelt. Just a winner.

The food was ok. Service was good. Not kids friendly. Only one dining table inside for families with kid.

The greens in the salad taste bitter, hard to chew, and pickles in it made it taste worse. The chickens &noodles soup also tastes bland. The fresh bean string is raw. There are a lot of restaurants that use fresh ingredients but also tastes good. This restaurant is not one of it.

The biscuit with butter and jam is my favorite.

Very tasty food. I ordered the braised beef meat and noodles. Absolutely delicious! The greens were fresh and crunchy, the beef tender and noodles firm to the tooth. The broth was not salty at all and had great depth of flavor.

My wife had the loaded sausage roll. Sausage and roll were perfect. A nice touch was the kernels of sweet corn and pickled onion slices.

Well have to come back soon to try the other dishes!

I wish I could give ten stars. This was one of the most well executed and interesting lunches I’ve had in a long time. All dishes were creative and the variety on the menu was really appealing (many things had to be saved for another time). The beef soup and pork soup were great. The salad was summer in your mouth. And the plate of rillete, cheese etc was amazing. Oh and the popcorn was great. Service and ambiance were excellent. Well worth a trip from Seattle alone. Or weekend on Vashon.

After my second visit, I firmly stand by what I wrote. I’d elevate this to be one of the top in the region in my books. The flavors are so well played and I lived their incorporation of fermented/pickled veggies. We had the popcorn, pork belly and rice, and the mushrooms over rice. The pork belly was the best preparation I’ve had. Service was exceptional.

Will be back.
