So excited to have a second Frankos location nearby. If you are a fan on the original location, it’s highly likely you will enjoy this new concept. Similar but with a “prime” twist.
Everything was very good. Highlights were the meatballs with polenta, burger, and ribeye. We haven’t yet tried the Wagyu strip but it will be the next thing we order.
Recommend giving Franko’s Prime a try. A great addition to the north Raleigh food scene.

Had dinner here tonight. Very good experience overall. They have some kinks to work out. The wedge salad needs some attention. Lettuce was wet, dressing bland but the onion ring is a nice touch. The wagyu strip was very very good but could use a bit more of a trim. We look forward to returning again as they continue to make adjustments.

What is not to love about Franko’s. From its charming location tucked in the Lafayette Village to the attentive staff. Even though we were there in Valentines day we never felt rushed or crowded yet every table was full. The staff was perfect. Just the right amount of personality to make you feel welcome. The food was some of the best I have eaten any where. The filet was cook perfectly and the sweet potatoes were perfection. You won’t be disappointed coming here.

We were party of four and had an excellent meal. While the steaks are the focus, the unique variety of appetizers and sides really made it unique. Every steak was cooked perfectly to order. The flavors across the various dishes were unique, but not overwhelming. The service was great and we loved the atmosphere- especially the comfortable chairs, and the huge wooden front door. I would recommend to anyone for a special meal.

First time visiting Frankos was Valentine’s Day and I sat at the bar. Knowing the steakhouse would likely be very full, I took my chances at the bar and Alexis (I believe was her name) was truly amazing. The drinks were amazing and the steak was out in a very efficient manner considering the holiday. The staff was great, but I will say that Alexis made my experience create this Five Star review. I would advise letting any employee train under her. Great experience.

Really enjoyed Franko’s Prime – I’m a regular at Franko’s steakhouse in Franklinton but loved my experience here, as well. Their onion rings are amazingly to die for. The bone marrow was also delicious. My family tried both soups which I highly recommend. As always, I did a filet and it was cooked and seasoned to perfection! I’ll be back! Great dirty martini as well!

Franco’s Prime is a new restaurant in Lafayette Village. It has only been officially open about one week. They are replacing a Mexican restaurant and have completely renovated it. The atmosphere is great.
We went there with friends for our anniversary. Our server was very good but since the restaurant was only open for a week, some cheat sheets were needed concerning the wines. She handled it well and was able to answer all our questions about the menu. She was very attentive and not intrusive. Just the right amount of attention.
The food was very good/great. We had 4 different dishes which were superb. The ribeye was done perfectly and very delicious. The flight of filets were cooked as ordered and the 3 different sauces were very complementary. They added the extra touch of flavor. The Salmon was done correctly and so were the Scallops. All of our meals were exceptional and we would all order them again. We will be returning.
We had the Carrot Cake for dessert and it was actually one of the very best we’ve ever had.
A real upgrade for Lafayette Village.

Very excited to try Franko’s prime for the first time for a special occasion. Though the atmosphere and service were great, the overpriced NY Strip steak was an incredibly poor quality meat full of fat and gristle. Left much on my plate and was missing the cognac peppercorn sauce I paid extra for. The rest of my table were happy with their filet mignon, ribeye, and pork chop.
