Have been going here since their first location on the east side 10 or 15 years ago. In love with the sesame chicken, I order it extra spicy. Come to think of it I’ve never ordered anything else! I have tried many other dishes that friends and family have ordered. Mongolian beef was great, pad Thai came with a lot of noodles, It lasted 3 days, eating a little each day. I will have to jump out of my realm and try this coffee chicken next.

Most of the staff is pretty friendly here – the waitress I’ve had the last two times is so sweet! (I wish I knew her name so I could thank her specifically). She joked with us and was just the right amount of attentive – she deserves 5 stars on her own. Food wise, the pot stickers are some of the best I’ve had recently (chewy but not under done, crispy but not burnt). I also tried their ginger basil chicken, which was pretty good except for the giant slivers of ginger that overpowered the flavor. Unfortunately, the last time I was there I ordered the pad thai. It tasted “funny”, I don’t really know how to describe it except sour, and made me a little queasy later that night.

The best Chinese food I’ve found in ABQ so far! The Dragon sesame, cashew chicken, coffee chicken are all great (that’s all I’ve tried so far). I’m not a coffee person at all by the way so please don’t let the name put you off if you aren’t either! Very nice staff and clean restaurant as well. Try it!

We love Chows, good food and usually good service. But the last time we ordered a bottle of Plum Wine which was listed as $19 on the menu. When the bill came, we were charged $21 for the bottle. We complained and after they checked, they said it was an older menu, but did NOT return our $2 overpayment. Its just the principle that they make a mistake and we have to pay for it…

Their food is good in the restaurant, but the delivery service they use is terrible. We didn’t get our dinner until more than two hours after it was ordered, which was more than an hour after the promised delivery time. Food was cold and congealed when it arrived. Since this is what Chow’s thinks its customers deserve, we will never eat there again.

If I were to say there was one thing I miss about Albuquerque, it would be this place. Chow’s is absolutely amazing! I cannot recommend the coffee chicken highly enough, try it as soon as you can. Here is to hoping that they open a new location in Colorado.

Went to Chows cause we saw it in the alibi summer dining guide. The food pictures looked great so we thought we would try it. We went around 6:00pm friday night it was not crowded there was a man playing great music on the panio. The waitress took our drink and appetizer order and the drinks came out quick then we placed our dinner order. We waited for 1/2 and nothing came out we ended up paying for our drinks called ichiban placed a to go order and left cause we were very hungry. Ichiban had our order ready by the time we got there, We will never go back to this place again.

Very unfriendly people. Food is great but the servers and bartenders are rude. They made me feel like i wasn’t “good enough” to be in their presence. Very snobbish. Hats off to the chef. The meals are top notch. Servers need work.

Everything is made from scratch. A true chef style restaurant. All the sauces are so fresh. Lots of vegan options. And big portions. It’s the only Asian style restaurant I’ve ever left actually full.

Favorites are coffee chicken, dragon sesame chicken and walnut shrimp. Wow!! Nice that they have an outside entrance so you don’t have to deal with the mall to go have nice dinner. Live pianist is wonderful, too!
