Amazing!! Had a late breakfast but these guys and girls at the Dallas tamale cafe made a fresh plate of breakfast for me and the wife. With some handmade tortillas! Definitely 10 out of 10. Amazing staff! Amazing cooks! And very clean! Definitely coming back!

The prices were very affordable, especially considering the quality of the food. Everyone in our group ordered something different, and every single person thoroughly enjoyed their meal. It’s not always easy to please a crowd, but Dallas Tamales Cafe nailed it!

This spot is always good. I have tried so many menu items here now that I can say over all, the food is great authentic Mexican food. Wide menu to choose from to catering for your personal party and events as well. Staff is always friendly. The atmosphere is always up whether they’re playing tejano to oldies. To stop in and grab a quick bite or have a gathering, this is a great place to choose from.

We stopped by for breakfast this morning! Friendly staff! Fresh Hot chips & salsa were delivered to our table as soon as we sat down. I had the bacon, egg, potato, & beans breakfast tacos. Good size & very filling I ordered 3 but could only finish 2. Overall it was very delicious. Definitely recommend this place & will be returning soon.

Not sure what happened this year but the pork tamales my mom picked up on Christmas Eve were not good. The masa tasted spoiled and smelled like olives. Not edible and she bought 3 dozen.

Food was really authentic and very good!! Menudo was fantastic!!! Barbacoa was perfectly cooked. Salsa had a good flavor and kick… homemade tortillas were delicious… definitely will be back!!

charged 21.28 for a dozen tamales. Sign outside should be taken off that says 13.98 a dozen. They tasted ok. I don’t appreciate being told a total out loud 2056 and then charging my card a different amount I used Apple Pay you could’ve vocalized if there was gonna be an additional charge and you did not that’s extremely unprofessional. They gave two small salsa for a dozen tamales and offered to sell me a four dollar salsa to go with them. Can’t say, I felt comfortable But I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Some of the best tex-mexican food in the metroplex! And if you’re in the market for fresh masa for your home made tamales, the Cafe has it and the masa is excellent! We made 20 pounds of masa for some of our best tamales in years!

Blue collar crowd. Excellent food . I go for the Menudo , it’s usually real good but it was a bit on the salty side but it was so good , I had to eat it. Used to get 3 tortillas per bowl but now only two.
Waitstaff is okay , but once you get served…they disappeared..lol , like deer in the forest.
Food is excellent and reasonably friendly…
