The shrimp and mango ceviche was extremely delightful fresh light with plenty of flavor. I ordered the signature fish taco which was perfectly battered and cooked that was very delightful. We’ll come back and try another dish and maybe order the ceviche again.

The food is fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared, with portion sizes that feel just right — satisfying without being heavy.
The standout for me was the Baja shrimp taco bowl, which was absolutely delicious and easily the best item we tried. Everything tasted light, fresh, and well seasoned. They also have local Mexican sodas, which were fun and refreshing to try and a nice touch.

This place is delicious, affordable, and fun! The wait staff answered my MANY questions about allergens in various dishes, and everything I ordered was 1) delicious, 2) cooked appropriately (no dry fish here!), and 3) customized as needed to avoid allergens. I will be back to eat here again!

Signature taco is one of the best tacos i’ve ever had. Be prepared that the portions are too small. My two sons (15yo and 10yo) and I had 10 tacos with chips and elote but we felt that not enough .

In the area of MoCO known as Bethesda, finding a meal out of the house is easy. Finding a good meal, not so much. DC area food is barely mediocre. Commercial rents are high, the chefs won’t take culinary risks, and the people settle.
Enter Fish Taco: owners’ take on Mexican street taco and its accoutrements. Splendid effort. Is it LA, Baja or even Ciudad Juarez style exactly? No. But it’s darn tasty. Grab an Elote, several street tacos of your favorite proteins, bring in the line, an ice cold Mexican Coca-Cola with REAL sugar, Topochico or Jarritos – AND ENJOY.
Excellent, friendly service. Super clean. Mango Shrimp ceviche is crisp, cool and lemony. You will love this place.

Food wasn’t hot. I shared a meal with my spouse and it was not worth the wait. Very disappointing, we ordered the chicken tacos and rice and beans and all of it was warm, not hot as you would think it should be for having to wait over 10 minutes. This is the second time we’ve gone to a fish taco, different locations, and I’m truly not interested in going a third time.
