Love their ham and cheese quiche, the cookies, carrot cake and lattes, including a mocha with fire, spicy blend of hot spices like smoked paprika and chili powder. Great gift ideas, the Blind Date with a Book is a fun concept.

The Perks of Life Coffee House in Eagle, Idaho is a delightful little spot that makes mornings feel special. From the moment you step in you notice a warm, cozy vibe—comfy seating, friendly baristas, and an easygoing neighborhood energy that makes it a great place to start the day.

Highlight: the bacon and spinach quiche. The crust is buttery and flaky, the custard silky and well-seasoned, with smoky bacon and tender spinach balanced perfectly so every bite tastes homey and a little indulgent. It’s the kind of savory breakfast that feels both satisfying and thoughtfully prepared.

On the sweeter side, the raspberry lemon scone is a must-try. Bright, tangy raspberry and a hint of lemon cut through the richness of the scone, which is moist and slightly crumbly with a pleasantly glazed top. Pairing it with a large hot chocolate turns breakfast into a treat—the hot chocolate is rich, creamy, and comforting, a perfect foil for the tartness of the scone.

Service is upbeat and welcoming, and the shop’s atmosphere makes it easy to linger—whether you’re catching up with a friend, reading, or getting a little work done. If you’re in Eagle and want a reliably delicious breakfast with great coffeehouse charm, The Perks of Life is well worth a visit.

What a cute little place! I love it in here! There are tons of tables and seating areas to work, have meetings, or just relax. There is the cutest corner of gifts, journals, pens, coffee mugs etc! Really great little gems!

I had to take a minute to peruse their large menu! They offer everything! For a drink I went with a standard london fog. It was great and super hot, which I love! I also tried their quiche; the bacon spinach! It is a HUGE serving…and it is delish! 🙂

Their baked good also looked mouthwatering and I can’t wait to try something sweet next time! The scones looked like perfection.

I will definitely be stopping in here more often! it’s a great atmosphere to kick some work out! Awesome job team! So happy to have stopped in!

Today’s coffee adventure brought me to Perks of Life Coffee. I was stuck at home for a bit waiting for the plumber to finish up. I had about 40 minutes to get there before 2. Thank goodness I was able to make it in 30 minutes before closing.

The venue is very nice. You walk in and you instantly see all the pretty light fixtures and decor. On top of all that, you also see all the yummy looking baked goods on display. I’m sure the cases were full of goods this morning so by the time I got there it was slim pickings. Mind you, even the slim pickings looked delicious!

I was greeted by the barista after she finished helping another guest. She was very nice. She grabbed my order, took my name and got my drink started. I got my usual drink, an iced americano with sugar free vanilla and room for cream. While my drink a being made, I made my way through all their merch. It was fun looking at all the mugs, variety of stickers, wall art and to what looked like wrapped book gift bundles with all sorts of goodies packaged in with it.

The barista called out a name but I stood there kinda confused. The gal before me got her drink so I was the only one left who needed a drink. She looked at me giving me the hint it was mine. I repeated my name which was not the name she called out. I found it humorous that she couldn’t read her own handwriting. I made sure again it was mine and made my way to the nicely stocked condiment bar. Topped my drink off with some half and half and made my way to a table.

I like my coffee a hair sweeter so I add a little blue packet of sugar from my bag. It usually gives it just that little extra kick. Well, I didn’t need it today. I wasn’t expecting how sweet it was. I almost questioned whether or not it was sugar free syrup that was used. I also did ask for room so I can add some cream but unfortunately I had to dump out some coffee to make room. That little bit of extra water does dilute the espresso. It sucks having to dump product out that you paid for when it could have been properly made if the barista had paid attention. I did hang out for a bit and enjoyed my drink after it was modified.

The venue is really chill. I appreciate all the fun merch, the creative wall art and baked goods. I can see myself coming back for a girls coffee meet up or for some alone time out on their outside seating area. Hopefully next time my drink will be on point and I’ll be able to enjoy my drink that much more while trying out one of their baked treats.

I’ve been looking for a good coffee shop since moving here six months ago and I’m so happy to say I FINALLY found one! The coffee is good, the baked goods are delicious! And they had vegan and gluten free options. I’m excited to try their breakfast burritos. Great space to meet a friend and chat. Lots of seating available.

I can’t believe I haven’t left a review before about Perks of Life. It is such a fabulous coffee shop and eatery. Comfortable, welcoming, delicious food, great coffee, efficient and friendly service. It looks family owned or run. We have always had the nicest people serving us and other people in the cafe – it’s just a friendly, wonderful place. Lots of gluten-free pastries – which are amazing. Several gluten-free food options. Indoor and outdoor seating. The seating and the art are eclectic and friendly. Vegetarian options and children friendly.

G’day!!!! Each time I visit from Australia I pop by Perks of Life….I have to say one of the best Mocha’s in Boise and the homemade treats makes them a double threat cafe! Some do coffee well but not the treats….so a must go to. They seem to get busy around 10am so pop in before or after for a quick coffee and treat. They also have some great spots for working, scrolling or quiet time. 🙂
