I wanted to give this place 5 stars, but the place feels pretty depressing. The lighting is dim and it felt more like a cafeteria at closing time than an in service restaurant. But where it makes it up is in the food! It is the best kept secret, the food is incredible! We got the Yooper Pountine with shredded beef and cheese curds on it and it was amazing! I prefer my fries less “potato-like” and more crispy, but they were good. The gravy and cheese curds and beef! I could just eat that! My kids complained there wasn’t breakfast on the menu ( I know, bratty) but the server overheard and said he could make them French toast if they wanted, which was super nice! So that’s what two of them got. I ordered the olive burger and it had an amazing flavor! The meat was seasoned well and the olives were grilled and melted into the mozzarella cheese. It was delicious! My other two kids got burgers and liked them as well. The entrance leaves little to be desired, it’s pretty grim. But don’t be fooled, go in and try the food, it’s worth it. The cook came out and chatted with us a couple times when he brought the food and he was very nice.

Ate here Friday. Had lunch and dinner. My youngest loved the chicken wings. And my family and I loved the pizzas we ordered for dinner. We got a buffalo chicken pizza, taco pizza, cheese pizza, and a supreme with a garlic parm crust. Soooooo good. Cant wait to get back in October for more delicious food.

Came in on a Friday night and had the Fish Sampler Platter. It was amazing. The fish was super fresh, very crispy. The best fish fry I have had in 30 years.
Got a pizza to go. Great pizza. Love the homemade crust. Staff was very friendly and pleasant to talk with. Cannot recommend enough.

This is one of those life lessons about never judging a book by its cover! The Google reviews brought us here and they were right! We had a group of ten, 5 adults and 5 children! We ordered appetizers and meals, I can tell you everyone was satisfied and then some. I personally had the poutine, cheese curds and the Wisconsin burger. It was delicious and if you want a great burger they have them. I also had a couple slices of the pizza as left overs the next day and it was still great! The guy working did a great job taking our order, preparing the food and talking to us about the yooper stones!!! Really enjoyed the whole experience!!!

This is a must stop! I’ve hit a lot of local pizza joints across the US over the last 25 years in the military…I can’t think of a single one that put out a better pizza than this place! Highly recommend the jalepeno popper pizza!

Stayed in White Pine to do some hiking for a weekend with my husband and our dogs, we got dinner here one night and it was amazing! Pizza was wonderful, highly recommend the jalapeño popper pizza. And great prices too!

Awesome local service and food. For coming in at a half hour to closing time the owner was very accommodating and was willing to make my wife an off menu item that she was requesting from an out dated menu. Every time I come to White Pine I try to pay them a visit. I had the chicken strips with fries and BBQ sauce. The sauce container was huge in comparison to what you normally see; same goes with the Aus Jus.The chicken was juicy and crispy. My wife loved her French Dip. She said the hoagie definitely made the sandwich stand out with the Aus Jus, the beef was tender and well balanced with the rest of the ingredients.
We will definitely be coming back.

Stopped here on a snowmobile ride and the pizza was fantastic! The menu options were unique and original. We tried the jalapeno popper pizza, it was very good! The owner was very friendly and kind! A must stop if you’re in the area!

Really enjoyed the BBQ chicken pizza. Good sauce and lots of cheese. Owner was super friendly and a Veteran. He sells pictures that his mom and cousin take. Ended up buying two photos. Delightful surprise in the middle of nowhere in the UP. Restaurant is in an old mall. Don’t let the appearance fool you.

A must stop!!! Ordered the garlic cheese curds, a salad, and the super fries pizza with a stuffed crust, everything was so fresh and delicious, I couldn’t wait to dive into the pizza before snapping a picture! Everyone was so friendly and the owner took time to talk to us! Can’t wait to come back!!
