This is exactly what I was expecting in a small town cafe, good food, friendly staff. Not one disappointment from my visit. The biscuits were VERY soft, they had a jalapeño sausage that was very tasty and we tried the deep fried French toast because why not. All delicious. Ill definitely swing back in again.

I will go there again ! Seemed like good homestyle food and the waitress was very kind, knowledgeable, but after delivering the check, she got busy with other customers and waited and waited for her to come back around to our area. Finally, we flagged her down, but that’s why the four stars Because we all can improve. Easy parking and does have a handicap spot, but not sure about the door being handicapped accessible. It did look wide but no ramp to the threshold so I don’t know what calls for handicap access but if I was in a wheelchair, I think I could do it. Went for lunch on a Thursday And not so busy, which is the way I like it and talking with Jimmy he says the restaurant been there for a long time and has always had good food. So if you’re ever in the area and hungry, stop and it will be worth it. Lunch special was I think $12.99 and included Main entrée, you’ve got several to choose from and of course I got the country fried steak and it was the size of half of the plate so very big portion and two sides and I got iced tea. I hope this helps and have a blessed day. figure out.

We ate here for breakfast and it was good. Great tasting food and really good service. For an out of the way dinner the prices are on the high side for the amount of food you actually get. They spread it out on the plate to look plentiful, but it’s actually very thin and skimpy.

We had the breakfast plate with pancakes and the everything omelet with chorizo. We enjoyed both. We had an issue with my husband’s coffee that was resolved quickly. It’s a small family run restaurant that is great for breakfast.

This is a solid go-to place for breakfast and brunch, we always stop when we’re visiting grandma and it’s consistently great. The chicken/rooster decor is super cute, the service is always top notch, and the food is great. I usually get something traditionally American, but this last time I braved it and tried some huevos rancheros. I’m glad I did. I got them without cheese, and they were good. Idk what beans they use, but they didn’t taste canned, which I appreciated. They had more spice to them than I anticipated, which was also nice because I was prepared to get some chips&salsa style sauce lol. Seriously a great place to stop for some good food and service!

Yummy food, went with a group, some of us had breakfast and some had lunch. I had the special chicken and dumplings with onion rings and tater tots on the side. Everything was great. Adorable chicken decor and the folks who work there are the nicest!

Fresh and delicious country food. Perfectly executed. Friendly service. Nice and clean. An absolute gem of a place. The spinach omelet is very good, the home fries also. Be sure to try the fried squash! The iced tea is perfect.

Well, I was pleasantly surprised by this little tucked away breakfast spot here in Azle.

They must live chickens, because good lord it looks like a dang chicken invasion inside this place …. super cute!

I have been here several times and I gotta say that the service is always over the top and the owner is ALWAYS hovering around and helping out which is fantastic because of her friendly demeanor and smile!

Today I went with the Huevos Rancheros and even though the price was a little high ($17+tip=$20 breakfast) it was really really good!

I can’t afford to eat here all that often, but I will be back when I can!!

This is a very cute place with a wonderful atmosphere and amazing service. The owner has truly created the cutest small town diner to ever exist! It’s a cozy little getaway, staffed with wonderful people who genuinely care about their customers. I love nothing more than an adorable little breakfast spot, and this is it. The food was quite good and very reasonably priced (which is hard to find these days). I will definitely be returning here in the future.
