The sweet potato tots are so good! I had the mushroom and goat cheese burger which was delicious. It would have been nice if it was cooked to my liking, didn’t have time to send it back. All in all it was good.

The venue itself is beautiful—spacious, stylish, and very well designed. What stood out to me most, though, was the service. The staff were attentive and professional, and the executive chef went above and beyond. I have some food allergies, and he personally reviewed the ingredients and created a special shrimp salad for me. Instead of feeling like I had to “settle” for something plain, it truly felt like a thoughtfully prepared dinner. That level of care and compassion made the evening memorable, and I left not only enjoying my meal, but also feeling safe and welcomed.

Group of seven in last night, twenty minutes to get soft drinks, an hour for a starter salad and mains ten minutes later. I have a nasty food allergy which was ignored, so I waited another ten minutes for them to come back out and tell me they were still making it. I waved it off, as the rest of my friends were finished eating. The manager came out, assured me my meal was coming. That’s when I learned the waitstaff aren’t allergen educated and my original order would have been fine. I explained to him that the restaurant was at half capacity and we’d been there for 1h45, that we wanted to leave and I was all set going without. He couldn’t deal with it. He made a point to come back with the kitchen slip that showed our order and that we were there 1h23. Well, that plus 20 minutes is pretty close to 1h45. Why would you come back to confront our group like that? Keep in mind we weren’t the only table getting apologized to by him last night. Just a turned-off experience entirely.

Upon walking in I immediately thought this was going to be one of those “elevated pub food” yuppie places with dry smash burgers and $6 sides of froufrou crap. Impressive wall of TVs but while the bar seats looked nice they weren’t particularly comfortable. Service from the bartender was great though. Super friendly but not pushy. I had a beer and ordered a burger (the “animal style” special) to go.
Got home and had the burger.
Holy crap was my first impression of Cowbell wrong. This was a legit, greasy, mom & pop midwest-roadside-style old fashioned burger. Ridiculously good. Juicy, good bun, perfect mix of basic toppings, not overcooked patties, etc. To be honest, the best burger I’ve had in Maine. I’ve eaten burgers from alllllll over….and this one was that damn good. I was and still am shocked.
If I have any complaint about this place it’s that the parking sucks unless you luck out on one of the 6 curbside spots out front.
Don’t be fooled by that interior. This isn’t just an upscale BWW….the kitchen at Cowbell is LEGIT. I’m going to have to try everything on that menu now haha

Seated ourselves like the sign said. Waited about 5 minutes for a server to arrive. No napkins or silverware was given. Food took long time to arrive. Ordered burger medium came out well down and dry. Didn’t discover that for about 5 minutes as I waited to get the server’s attention for some mayo. He brought me blue cheese sauce instead. Waited another 10 minutes until he appeared again. By that point the burger was barely warm. Doesn’t matter though, it was awful either way

Awesome food, great atmosphere. Not sure if it’s often but tonight they had a performer playing guitar and singing some classic 80’s and 90’s songs. I had Street Truck Tacos that where amazing. I saw a few other menu items that I definitely need to try also.

I grabbed a cheese steak sandwich for lunch today. Although the sandwich looked really great, was hot, and appetizing, there was something that didn’t quite meet my expectations about it. It might have been a little bland or under seasoned so it was kind of meh. I felt the same way about the fries that came with it. They were just kind of sad looking. The service however was really good. My server was friendly and attentive.

We got the steak tips, ghost in machine, steak and cheese and the chili fries. The steak tips were so good. The ghost in the machine made my friend feel like a ghost in a machine. Or whatever he said. We love the owner John cowboy. His picture is on the wall. The chili fries were too sweet, it felt like I was being love bombed by my ex. I wish more cheese, more spice, and more cowbell. The steak and cheese was a perfect balance my friend now wants to pursue Taoism. The manager bought us a round of drinks because there was a miscommunnication on seating and he had to move us seats so that was really nice and exceeding the standards of customer service. Over all, would come back again and again

Had a great time at the Super Bowl party! The staff, ownership, and management were all super nice and always checking in with all the customers and patrons! They made you feel like you were in their home! I’ll be back many times!

This place was not too bad. It was our first time here! Drinks were good. I ordered the tacos. I wasn’t really a fan. The chicken was bland, needs seasoning. The pineapple in the salsa really takes away from the flavor. My bf really liked the chicken sandwich. Beautiful atmosphere. The bathrooms are nice but it needed to be cleaned. Poutine was our favorite! Great service for sure!
