Had a great time eating delicious food for Galentine’s. Just a word to the wise, order your first 15 items and eat them all before ordering more. But definitely worth the money.

Had a great waiter named Christian who was very attentive and an extremely friendly waitstaff named Patty. Would recommend!

We’ve been waiting for KPOT to open and finally decided to try it just three days after opening day, and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, we loved the experience. There was plenty of seating, and even though they are still working out a few opening week kinks, everything ran smoothly and we had a great time overall.
Our server, Alanis, was absolutely amazing. She was super friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. She really helped elevate the experience.
As huge KBBQ fans, we were very impressed with the selection. The variety of meats was excellent, and we also really enjoyed the hot pot options, which added a fun and delicious twist to the meal. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful.
We are so excited to finally have KPOT open and cannot wait to come back again. Highly recommend.

We decided on a whim to try KPOT today. I wasn’t sure what to expect but had high hopes due to the reviews. The restaurant exceeded all expectations. We decided to do that all you can eat with both the hot pot and the grill. We enjoyed the spicy beef on the grill along with fresh zucchini and peppers. From the Korean hot pot bar we also had the sweet and spicy sauce scallions Yum Yum sauce, cucumber, kimchi, daikon, and regular kimchi. It was so flavorful and so enjoyable that we actually ate more than we usually do. The hot pot was also extremely good. We did two different broths, Japanese miso and healthy herb, and they were both phenomenal. we are definitely going to be coming back here. When we arrived at 11:55 AM there was already a line to get in the door. At least at the moment I would highly recommend trying it for the first time prior to dinner time otherwise plan on waiting. Our server Patty was wonderful as well. Definitively a 10/10 experience that beat both Go Gi Go and Honey Pig.

With much anticipation to try this new KPOT as our last experience at other Korean hot plate had disappointed us hang on tight cause this spot BLOWS all the others out of the water!
First off Christian was an amazing server probably the best server I’ve ever had who walked us through how the ordering process works.
We decided to get the hot pot for an additional $5.00, why not? Something others don’t offer.. There’s over 8 different options to choose from we went with Scezchuan spicy base.
Your provided a tablet to order anything you want to cook on the plate OR cook in your hot pot! But the real shining star of this place is the sauce bar from over 20 different ingredients and sauce to recipes on how to make certain sauces posted above the sauce bar! This hits hard for me because every other Korean BBQ you’re starved of sauce here there’s sauce freedom.
Lastly you order 10 items at a time from the tablet. And when I say fast. It’s fast! The amount of time it takes for your food to come out is absolutely zero competition this Korean BBQ spot dominates all others in Fredericksburg. Looking for the Ultimate Korean BBQ KPOT is your way to go!

This is my first time ever trying a Korean BBQ, so the weight was about 20 minutes, service was excellent, our server gave us the education on the menu, also please look at the fine print they are able to charge you a surcharge of $14 if your food is not completed so please do not let your eyes be bigger than your belly. Very nice atmosphere the cooking your own food right in front of you it was nice experience. At the time that I did go they do not have their liquor license so if you do want to mix drink Unfortunately they only serve Pepsi products. I would definitely recommend this place if you are going with a group for good food hot pots and getting familiar with cooking for yourself and an establishment the thrill of that alone is exciting, they also have condiment sections and also ideas on how to mix the condiments which I thought was really brilliant, I got the hot pot so I ordered the soup base first and then the entrees are unlimited you also have a 2-hour eating window. I would recommend going once again with a group check out the plant wall to take a festive photo once you leave. Our bill was about $31 per person if you were looking for cost-wise that was the hot pot weekend prices very.

KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot offers an excellent all-you-can-eat selection of high-quality meats, seafood, and fresh vegetables, complemented by a well-stocked sauce and appetizer bar, including desserts. Our server, Celina, was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and professional—and the rest of the staff provided equally great service. The restaurant features a modern atmosphere that feels authentic and reminiscent of trendy dining spots in South Korea. Overall, the experience delivers exceptional quality, service, and value.

I must express that will not be returning to this Korean BBQ establishment. Our group of three arrived precisely at noon, yet the staff instructed patrons to remain outside for an additional five minutes in the cold rather than allowing us to wait in he lobby. Our grill was completely out of service thirty minutes after we were seated. We requested to be moved several times, but management insisted we stay at our table. We had raw food left unattended and no heat. To make matters worse, I discovered a large piece of plastic in my soup. The manager, a young woman, came to replace my soup, but it took quite some time. There was not a single apology or discount offered for the inconvenience. Dining for three people cost nearly $150 for subpar service. I cannot recommend this place.

I went to KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot recently and had a really solid experience. The food was good overall — the meats were flavorful and came out at a steady pace, and there were plenty of options for both BBQ and hot pot. A couple items took a little longer during the busy rush, but nothing too crazy. Our server, Jojo, was great. She was friendly, patient, and checked in on us without being overbearing. She made sure we understood how everything worked and kept our table cleared, which definitely made the meal smoother. You can tell she was juggling multiple tables but still stayed positive.

It was a fun spot for a group dinner, and I’d come back again. Appreciate the good service!

Love this place!

The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful!

There was a wait for a table but the hostess was very helpful. She put us on the wait-list and sent a text message when our table was ready.

The service was top notch!
This was our first Hot Pot experience and we were a bit nervous but our server explained everything to us helped us by making suggestions.

I can’t wait to go back!

I came here during their first week of opening. It wasn’t crazy busy, so it didn’t take long for us to get a table or our first order.

Our server Alanis was nice she explained how everything works and how to adjust the grill and stove settings.

They have a ton of sauces and appetizers, which is great. But honestly, the sauce area is a little overwhelming for first timers. You have to walk back and forth reading all the tiny labels, trying to figure out what to mix. The appetizers themselves were just okay… kind of the same quality you’d find at a cheap Chinese buffet.

You can order as much as you want, which is nice for the first round. But after that, the next orders took a while to come out, and the portions kept getting smaller. For example, we put in 10 orders of brisket because we love brisket, but they brought us one small plate with maybe 8–10 rolls on it. Even the steak portions were tiny. The meat quality was good, but a lot of the marinated meats tasted like curry or cumin for some reason.

We also had trouble finding someone to change our grill. At one point I even had to ask a busser for help. If you bring kids here, be careful the grill sits pretty high and close to your face, and hot oil or broth from the grill/hotpot can easily pop out.

The broth was a big disappointment. I ordered the tom yum for my hotpot and, as an Asian, I can tell you it did not taste like tom yum at all. It tasted more like tomato soup. And I’m pretty sure the staff forgot to give us bowls for the hotpot because we spent about 45 minutes eating soup off a plate until I finally got up to look around and find some.

I keep seeing reviews saying the manager hopes customers will give them a second try. That’s fair since they just opened, but honestly, for a big franchise like KPOT, having this many issues isn’t a great excuse.

Overall, they’re fine if you just want to try “hotpot + grill.” But qualitywise, the meat is just okay. Not good enough to make you go into a food coma from eating tons of great meat. There are definitely better Korean BBQ spots in the area with better meat quality and better service, especially for first-timers.

The ice cream is definitely terrible, that’s different brand from hershey’s chocolate for sure.
