The food was great! We ordered creamy udon with spicy port and stir fried chicken. Was pleasantly surprised wiht the spice level of the chicken. Both me and my daughter loved the food and the portion sizes were large enough that we could take half of what we ate as leftovers! Great place, our go-to for Korean BBQ from now on.

Decent Korean restaurant. It’s definitely on the lighter side in the area of taste, and less strongly flavored. The workers were very kind, and the atmosphere is clean. There are some vegetarian options, since you can opt for tofu on certain meals.

The Third Place in downtown Redmond is my go-to spot for Korean fried chicken, hands down. While parking can be a bit of a hassle, I usually just opt for takeout, and let me tell you, it’s worth it.

Their Korean fried chicken is on another level—crispy, flavorful, and just downright addictive. Whether you’re a saucy or sauceless kind of person, this chicken delivers. The portions are generous, perfect for sharing or stretching into two meals with another dish on the side.

Now, let’s talk sauce. The spicy option? Whew, it’s not for the faint of heart. Tried it once, won’t be doing that again. But the honey garlic? Oh yeah, that’s the sweet spot. Just be warned, reheating leftovers can be a bit tricky with the honey, so it’s a finish-everything kind of deal.

As for other menu stars, the spicy rice cake is a winner in my book. Surprisingly not spicy, it’s a hearty bowl filled with fish cake, chunky rice cakes, and veggies. And guess what? It pairs perfectly with the fried chicken. That’s our combo most nights, and it never disappoints.

But wait, there’s more. Ever tried fried crispy chicken gizzards? Trust me, you’re missing out. The texture is spot-on, but fair warning, it’s a tad oily, so if that’s not your vibe, you might wanna steer clear.

Sure, The Third Place might hit the wallet a bit harder than your average Korean joint, but let me tell you, it’s worth every penny. So if you’re in the mood for some killer Korean fried chicken, this is the spot to hit up, no doubt about it.

Sits in the heart of Redmond across from Matador is this new quality Korean restaurant. We tried the half and half fried chicken, stir fry udon and tofu soup. The Korean fried chicken is super tasty. Tofu soup is not too salty and comes with six side dishes. All dishes are very well prepared with good quality ingredients. Waiters are friendly and efficient. The decor looks a bit busy from outside but inside is nice and comfortable. I highly recommend this new Korean restaurant!

The fried chicken here is so delicate and very flavorful! You can easily consume a lot of chicken without feeling heavy. The spicy pork bulgogi was delicious. Their portions are astounding! You definitely get your money’s worth. Service is excellent.

My grown kids took me here to try Asian food and I fell in love with the taste! It was very healthy (I know some sweet ones with sugar is not but it wasn’t too sweet but delicious). I tried what my kids picked. If I come back to visit my kids, I would definitely choose this place for lunch or dinner!

Food was ok for my taste. Fried chicken was good but tad bit salty for me. Beef broth soup was a ok. Hot Stone Bi-Bim Bap is not worthy of a mention! Stir fried brisket w/bean sprouts is good! Spicy cheese rice cake was really good! Caveat: There was a gnarly annoying fly whilst we eat kind of hard to enjoy our meal! 5 stars for the fastidious service!

Came here during lunch and the Korean fried chicken is AMAZING! Probably one of the best kfc places I’ve been to in WA. Got the half and half and honey garlic and to my surprise my favorite was the original fried. The chicken is super flavorful and crispy – even with sauce on it. Got 2 stars for the yangnyum chicken and be warned, it was spicy! Corn cheese was pretty good too. Would definitely come back again.

Posting on behalf of friend: She said that they have the authentic Korean style chicken wings. The meat is very soft and tender. The batter used is the best in this vicinity. The option to choose the spice level is an additional bonus. Try half and half korean dish along with their freshly prepared mu.

I never thought I would give 2 star to this place, but here is the reasons:
I called 90 min ahead for to-go, when we arrive, we were told they were preparing the last dishes, and the male server would let us know once the order is ready. Well, we waited a long time, no one came to us until my sis checked with them again and found out our order was ready long time ago. Fine no big deal.

Bad packaging: The plastic bag was not tightened and they taped the bag handle so we weren’t able to retighten the handle without breaking it. We were in the car so though we tried our best but all the containers moved back and forward.

The worst thing is, when we took the dishes out, we found out one of the dishes bottom is broken because of the dish was too hot or to heavy and the container is too thin! The food dropped on the carpet, inside of the plastic bag, some on the table and some on our clothes – red sauce everywhere! Half of the dishes were gone!!!

We tried to call the restaurant back and their phone is not working!! (“ the Verizon customer you tried to call is not available please try it again later”)

And for 3 dinner dishes (not appetizers) we got ONE bowl of rice and ONE small pack of side dishes and ZERO utensils and ZERO napkins. So 4 of us had to share one bowl of rice and split 2 pieces of broccoli (one of the side dishes) UNBELIEVABLE.

Food: food taste good as usual EXCEPT the beef brisket with bean sprouts dish: brisket was way over cook and extremely chewy. We end up finished the sliced onion and bean sprouts.

Overall, I will say, just dine in. I don’t want to eat food with broken plastic in it nor share a small bowl of rice and 2 pieces of broccoli with the whole table anymore- it makes me feel like I’m eating cat food.

The third place, you know you can do better than that.
