Stopped on our way through Kansas City. Kids loved it! Not all the phones worked so that made ordering a little difficult but it was not busy and worked just fine. The train is so cute. Food was good and fast service.

I had a wonderful experience today. I got a grilled cheese and chocolate milkshake. Both were delicious. I primarily came here for the experience not the food but am happy to report the food was delicious. You sit yourself and order via the telephone at your table. Pretty cool experience. They have t shirts, hats, train whistles and train conductor ducks to purchase too. Kids would have a blast here! I would definitely make the effort to stop by for lunch or even breakfast.

I came in to place an order to go. I waited for someone to come back and take it but they were standing around making things here and there and then just talking. After I couldn’t wait any longer because I had kids waiting on me I placed it as a pick up on door dash and when it popped up on their screen they criticized out loud and made jokes on the items. I have 4 kids so I got 4 large fries and then me a BLT with egg. “I don’t think that’s enough fries” and then why on earth I would put an egg on my BLT. Seriously was embarrassed that I would even need to tell them I was ordering my children fries and that no it wasn’t for just one person. Employees should keep comments like that to themselves and even if not… not loud enough with the cooks that I can hear it at the table I’m waiting at. Won’t be taking my kids here.

I have been to 3 Fritz locations. It was interesting visiting the oldest location for the nostalgia . It does look like it needs some cleaning and delivery tracks need updating. The service was quick, the employees were friendly, and the food was fresh and satisfying. I was disappointed that the juke box on the tables do not work.

I didn’t expect much when we saw the outside of the restaurant, but the food was absolutely delicious, even my picky kid ate all her food! The kids were so excited to see the food delivered to our table by a train!

So glad this location is still up and running. I remember going as a child and excited to take my own kiddos to experience delicious hamburgers and onion rings. Such a great experience watching the train bring our food! Clean and comfortable seating.

Fritz’s is a KCK institution! Been visiting here since I was young. The burgers are fantastic and fresh. The onion rings are crunchy and have a great taste. Kids love to have their food delivered by a train and watch the trains as they drive around the ceiling dropping off food boxes. I highly suggest a visit if you are in the area.

Great place to take the kids: burgers, fries, milkshakes and a few other options. Order via a phone at your table and your food comes to you carried by a train on an overhead rail. My kids thought it was really fun. For me, the onion rings were the highlight!
