I went there specifically to see if they have vegan or vegetarian pizza, and to try it. Oddly, although they have vegan sausage, they don’t have vegan cheese. I got their personal (7″) Very Veg pizza with “thick” crust. I really enjoyed the crust for its texture. It was perfectly cooked with a firm but not difficult to bite bottom and a light upper. It wasn’t floppy and didn’t get overwhelmed with moisture by the sauce, which was thick. I had addled for extra sauce because I wasn’t sure if it would be occluded by the crust, but I needn’t have worried; their sauce is different from many other brands, with a bold, slightly spicy flavor, but a bit too much salt. I think I would’ve appreciated it more if there had been fake cheese to temper the flavor. There were more veggies on it than I usually see on pizzas, which was a happy surprise. Ultimately, though, the lack of cheese reduced the enjoyment, which is why I gave 3 stars for it. The lady who took my order was very nice and did a great job, but it was easy since I was there when it was empty.
I hope they’ll get a fake mozzarella that isn’t coconut/ palm-based because of the excessive saturated fat. I would probably try again if they did.

Ordered delivery of two large pizzas, and the restaurant was slow busy-wise. No where on the app does it say that Donatos will have DoorDash deliver the order. Order arrived over a hour after I placed my order, food arrived old looking and barely warm at all. Paid in cash, so they could have called and told me the delivery would take over a hour. Never ordering delivery from here again….

Nancy the manager is the rudest!!! As soon as we walked in she instantly gave us attitude. We were trying to ask about the new special they had. Nancy said “no changes no switching pizzas out. None of that” we didn’t ask that but okay. Then when we were ready to order she walked off. She comes back and says “what do you guys want” so we proceed to order and she says “what? I can’t hear you speak up. I can’t hear you” it wasn’t loud In there at all. We asked what her problem was and she had asked us to get out of the store that she wasn’t serving us. If I could rate -10/10 I would. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever had. Highly don’t recommend this place at all!

We recently picked up an order from Donatos, and our total was $40.20. While at the window, we noticed the employee handling the card reader seemed to be shuffling with it. After checking our receipt, we saw that a $10 tip had been added without our authorization. When we brought it to her attention, she quickly asked for the receipt back and removed the charge, but insisted on taking the original receipt from us.
We called to inform management about the situation and spoke with the shift leader, Nancy. Unfortunately, instead of addressing our concern professionally, she loudly stated that it was “an accident” and then hung up on us.
While mistakes can happen, the way this situation was handled was disappointing and unprofessional. We hope management takes this feedback seriously to prevent it from happening to other customers.

EDIT: Have recently ordered from there and both times, the orders have been correct and the staff, very professional and courteous since posting.
It does appear that the original person that caused me to have to write this review is no longer there and have since been served by very kind and courteous employees.

This site isn’t just short staffed, this site is staffed incorrectly.
Just ordered two pizzas: one cheese, one extra pepperoni. Simple enough. Ordered it to be delivered. Since it as sent doordash, the driver didn’t know what she was delivering. When it arrived to my house, the cheese was correct, but I was sent a hot honey pepperoni. Needless to say, we aren’t a spicy family.
I called and explained it, they made me a new pizza, I brought the incorrect one back to show them what it was. They said it was a Hot Honey Pepperoni, which I wanted to know why it was done incorrectly. Instead, the lady who swapped the pizza out for me snatched it out of my hand, turned away from me, yelling, “We’re short staffed”, then chucked the old pizza on top of the oven.
It’s not the mess up that bugged me so much as the attitude when I asked about it. I get being short staffed, but simple professionalism to someone who was just slighted and put out to have to come back to a store after spending money on a delivery order shouldn’t be too much to ask for.
In that case, yes, I will take the order screw up to task because how can someone screw up something as simple as one cheese one double pepperoni.
If their excuse is “we’re short staffed”, something the phone recording was so kind to remind me of, then Donatos better spend the extra money to hire at least another person, or screen the staff that can read an order properly and handle customer complaints.

Best pizza I’ve had in a long time! The thicker crust is on point! You can taste the freshness of the toppings and every. single. bite is bursting with flavor. All those other places could really take a lesson. Aaanndd… Alex is a top notch delivery pro with a great sense of humor!

Went last night to try a stuffed crust pep pizza added photos. Called it in on my way. Young man on the phone was not the most polite and definitely didn’t answer the phone the donatos way. He says is your name gray? I say no it’s Gary he says what’s your phone number as it clearly shows up on caller Id anyway I give him my number and name and he says what do you want. Lol little rude whatever. Ordered the pizza 25 min wait on a Saturday night ok fine might be busy mind you I’m already on the way.. Walk inside tell the lady I’m early for a pick up sit down and wait food came out probably ten minutes after no worries there as I was early. Was a pretty pizza little to much sauce for My liking but it was good. Follow the script young man it’s there for a reason you should be thanking customers for calling on the phone. Aka thank you for choosing Erlanger donatos will this be for pick up or delivery. Pickup alright can I get your phone number and your name. Tell them about your featured special and if they decline ask what you can get started for them.

When we travel to the Cincinnati area we ALWAYS stop at this location in Erlanger, KY. Great pizza, great people. My wife told me about this place from her college days, we came to a Donatos (there are none in our home town so we have to travel to get one). Well I’m sold out!!
