Mulberries Cake Shop made my wedding dreams come true! My husband and I were married in summer 2025 and Mulberries was a vendor within our Wedgewood package. My husband is gluten free and they were accommodating to a gluten free personal cake for us and regular gluten cupcakes for our guests! With the decision fatigue we were feeling, Mulberries made the tasting SO simple and guided our decision for us and our guests. They called us a few days before the wedding to confirm our count and the delivery. We were so lucky to have a cake shop that delivered our cake! Our guests made sure to tell us how many cupcakes they enjoyed at the end of the night. And as a bonus, their shop is so cute and cozy and easy to locate! Thank you to everyone at Muberries!

We had the best experience with Kathleen / Mulberries for our wedding cake and cupcakes. We were able to come in for a consultation / tasting which was very appreciated. Our cake was exactly what I was imagining, each flavor was amazing (especially loved the vanilla spice swirl and carrot cake). We also did several flavors of cupcakes, including some gluten free, which we received so many compliments on. Highly recommend!! Can’t wait to come back in the future!

Shout-out to Kathleen at Mulberries Cake Shop for making our wedding cake dreams come true! The Brighton area can be a little iffy for queer couples, but Kathleen made us feel perfectly welcomed when we visited her shop for our cake tasting. She created a gorgeous and delicious three tiered cake based on the ideas we sent her and sourced other desserts for us as well that all of our guests loved.

What a beautiful and delicious cake I received from Mulberry Cakes. Everything was perfect from placing the order to pick up time. I ordered a white cake with butter cream frosting with a raspberry center and it was moist and delicious. Wonderful job, we will be coming back!

I love this place! I got my wedding cake and a bunch of mini cupcakes and they were amazing. The service was outstanding! I was getting married on a holiday on a Monday and they were so helpful and even let me pickup on a day they were closed cause we had nowhere to put the stuff beforehand. I will always come back to them for every cake I need!

I’m editing my original review posting following my contact with the owner, as she had suggested. She was kind and validated my concerns. I asked for an received a refund. She also assured me that they would be changing their procedures regarding phone credit card payments! So based on this, I’m changing my service rating to 4 rather than the original 2. And giving it an overall 3 rating instead of 2. Thank you!
Original posting: Ordered a special cake for a sibling’s birthday. Did not get the icing we had requested, and of course it was too late to do anything about it when we picked it up, and the decorations on the cake were very simplistic. No nice border, just a straight line around the bottom of the cake, no border on the top just some flowers. Also, if you dislike the taste of food coloring, which was VERY strong, don’t order any colored flowers or colorado decorations, just use white! The cake itself was moist and very good, as was the filling, but the icing and taste of the decorations actually ruined it for me. One other MAJOR complaint…. the person that took the order PUT MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER, EXP DATE & SECURITY CODE on the order sheet, which was attached to the box in a self-serve refrigerated case that anyone could access!!!!! This disregard for privacy for financial information is amazing, to me, and I really can’t get over it. It is shameful.

Mulberries Cake Shop was a joy to work with for our wedding. They made us the most gorgeous cake to our specifications. It was so fun to visit their shop to taste flavor combinations and plan out the design. We received many compliments from guests on our cake, and would recommend this shop for any occasion!

From start to finish, Mulberries was great to work with, especially as a couple not living in the area. We did a tasting almost a year in advance when we were in the area to get a feel for what flavor combinations we wanted to do and designed our wedding cake and guest cupcakes that day as well. Fast forward to the month of the wedding, and they pulled it together perfectly. The design was top-notch for our vision, and the whole process made it to be one less thing we had to worry about. The flavors were terrific across all 5 different cupcakes we had, and the macarons and gluten-free cupcakes were delicious for our gluten-free guests. We would definitely recommend them to anyone.
