Let’s start with customer service. the girl at the counter who takes your order for food is like a deer in headlights. She’s more concerned with checking her phone in front of customers instead of taking the correct order. She’s rude, has 0 customer service skills; not even a smile or greetings. She messed up my order & blamed it on me then the manager came over to me asking if I wanted to “change” the order & I explained to him – no she made a mistake because I said my order 3x to her to make sure she got it, but still messed it up. As the manager was fixing the order on the computer she didn’t apologize, then when he Walked away for a second instead of making sure everything was Fixed, including my refund, she just called the next customer and I have to be the one to tell her that I needed the refund and I guess the manager didn’t realize that either. After I got my refund, I waited another 15 minutes on top of the 25 minutes. I waited previously I ordered two potato sandwiches and when she handed them to me with two sauces, I expected her to at least give me a bag, but I had to ask. She gave no eye contact no have a good day nothing. Then, when I opened the bag, I realized that it had a hole in it so she took it back for me seemingly with an attitude, then asked me which bag do I want the same one or one with a handle. She hand me the clothes bag I mean, at least she could’ve opened the bag and put the food in there for me.

Then today, I asked my boyfriend to pick up a sandwich for me. The same potato sandwich. As soon as I opened it, I smelled a really weird smell. It seemed fishy and stinky. I tried to ignore it and took a bite, but I couldn’t do it and they overstuffed it with so much potatoes. I barely could even swallow it. Then my boyfriend took a bite, and he immediately started choking and spit it out almost throwing up. The sandwich was also very soggy, not crispy at all. This place could be so great if they just hired people who actually cared about giving good service and good quality food. The first time I went there, the food was great, but then again, how hard can it be to make a potato sandwich? The workers do way too much socializing among each other. Maybe that’s why the service and food quality is horrible. I went there, dressed in pajamas, and all the men workers were just staring at me. They should be staring at the food they’re cooking. It’s just overall unprofessional, bad quality and bad service.

We visited yesterday and ordered two grilled chickens, a salad, and sodas. The chicken was tender and delicious— even the chicken breast was perfectly cooked. The fries and sauces were amazing, especially the white and purple ones. The salad was fresh, and I appreciated that the dressing came on the side. It took about 25 minutes for our food to be ready, which is reasonable for freshly grilled chicken. The place was clean, and everything seemed well organized.

A few recommendations:
The salad portion didn’t match the size shown in the images.
The whole chicken is a bit pricey. While it’s similar to other Middle Eastern restaurants, lowering it to $25.99 could give you a competitive edge.
Consider removing the tip option since there is no table service.

A new chicken place, Farooj Abo Albed, just opened up in town, and we went for dinner on Friday night. They had quite a line when we got there to order.

We had to wait for 10-15, minutes before we got our chance to order. From the menu, we ordered Special Chicken Roll and Fries.

Farooj Abo Albed has a mini-food court offering not only a chicken shop but also a juice and sweets bar, along with Kunafa. Our order arrived in 15 minutes, and we were on our way home to enjoy our meal.

The chicken roll was delicious. It had tasty, well-cooked chicken with spices, and the chicken was nicely marinated. The rolls made for a great dinner, and the fries were also really good and complemented the roll well.

Came in for lunch on a Friday for the first time. I thought it would be busier being Friday after prayer but surprisingly it wasn’t. I ordered the shish tawook(grilled chicken), it was a generous portion with fries and two pita breads and a pickle medley, the chicken was probably the driest chicken I’ve had in a long time it had a decent taste to it but I couldn’t get over how dry it was good thing I had the thoom sauce. I have no idea what the pink sauce is supposed to be I think it’s just plain mayo and some food coloring to be honest, as for the fries they weren’t too bad. I can see people liking this place I just don’t know if I would want to come back personally. The restaurant which includes two other concepts was clean and bright but for them to be middle eastern they should know better than to have a swing let alone hand it right at the entrance.
UPDATE:
Around midnight my stomach felt queasy
At 5am I was at full blown evacuation mood
It’s 11am next day and it feels like my guts went through a blender.

I knew the atmosphere was perfect when I first walked in, the people at the desk were so kind and it felt as if I were in a Michelin star restaurant. The smell of food was amazing let alone the taste of it. The vibes it self was so family-like and I would definitely recommend it to families.

While the meat shawarma was delicious it unfortunately took a long time to come out. The place smelled overwhelming like rodent repellant which took their star count down. The chicken shawarma was good but again 45min wait when it’s not busy is a lot.

I heard so much about this chicken from my friends, I couldn’t wait for it to open. It’s definitely not just another chicken sandwich. Flavor is great and super moist. I love the grilled bread! The pink sauce is great because I’m a big sumac fan!
