You can order for dine in or take out at the kiosk inside the store so it’s quick and convenient. My husband and I tried their pork elbow over rice with quail eggs, red chili oil cold noodles, and braised pork knuckle flatbread.
The pork was tender for the rice and there was an option to add 6 quail eggs for $2. The cold noodles came with chickpeas and sauce you can pour on top. The noodles has a vinegar sauce at the bottom but it’s not as sour so you can still taste the spice. The flatbread was pretty flaky but not as flavorful.

I tried three dishes here and they were all absolutely delicious!
• Tomato Minced Beef Rice Bowl – The savory minced beef mixed with the tangy sweetness of fresh tomatoes over fluffy rice is the perfect comfort food. Every bite feels warm and hearty.
• Signature Chili Minced Beef Rice Bowl – This one is a flavor bomb! The chili adds the right amount of heat without overpowering the tender beef, making it rich, spicy, and incredibly satisfying. Definitely a must-try for spice lovers.
• Rou Jia Mo (Chinese Pork Burger) – Juicy, slow-braised pork stuffed inside a crispy-yet-soft flatbread—this is hands down one of the best street food classics. The bread soaks up the savory pork juices, and it’s so addictive you’ll want more than one.

I had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — everything was full of flavor and freshly made. I especially recommend the Roujiamo (Chinese-style meat sandwich) and the braised pork knuckle rice. Both dishes were incredibly tasty and satisfying.
The service was also excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel very welcome. On top of that, the environment was clean and well-kept, which made the whole dining experience even better.
Highly recommended if you’re looking for tasty Chinese food and great service!

This is one of the most renowned, economical and delightful authentic Chinese small restaurant gems in LA (IYKYK). And they just opened their refreshing Dine-In this season.

In La La Land, TBH, it’s rare to find real traditional combo from my hometown on this price. The most signature braised pork belly over rice is my must order every time. As a meat lover, very happy with the tender texture and delicious flavor, along with favorite pickle bean with chili oil & tasty chopped red chill. Plus: you also get a free ‘Saint drink of summer’ – fine plum tea (in oriental healthy lifestyle theory, we believe tea like this can kill your heat / fire in the body).

And you are absolutely allowed to do ‘à la carte’ style, too. Choose whatever protein, veggie, sauce, rice/noodle, et cetera.

New surprises / add-up choices, including the most LA crispy meat flatbread (Chinese hamburger), all kinds of SiChuan/ ChongQing style spicy slim noodles, miscellaneous fish / meat small hot-pot stew and Claypot alike rice.

The owner couple is from Northern China, welcoming, genuine and hardworking. It’s a pleasing experience to rest and eat at this cool and relaxing spot while enduring the current heated climate. Further, get satisfied and happiness from the crafted cuisine they made from heart and soul.

Clean place. Yummy food. The Chinese burger bun is so crispy, the meat is so tasty. Pork knuckle over rice is so good too, large portion of meat vegetable and braised quail eggs.

Great fast casual spot with a compact menu. Water, paper towels, and utensils are self serve. Multiple ways to order and pay but the main one is a screen at the counter with pictures of the food, and takes credit card. The braised pork hock “sandwich” has some of the crispest lightest that I’ve had, and the filling is super hot but soft. I’ve tried 4 items from the menu and all have been pretty great. It’s fills a gap between a full sit down place and premade Chinese take out places. I’ve gotten picked fish soup, hot fish soup with super spice (very mala, lots of Sichuan peppercorn, about as spicy as Chengdu taste mapo tofu), tomato beef, intestine rice, pork elbow. The was fish had skin on, and was boneless.

The rice bowls come with little pickles, and the soups have bean sprouts, Napa cabbage, and sliced potato. The pork elbow tasted a bit tea smoked. It’s hard to find slow cooked meat with great soft but slightly bouncy texture, but not too grainy or brittle, so happy to find that here.
